    8:01 Why you just dont show the path of it too?
    I had no clue where it was and it took me 10 minutes until I found something usefull:
    "C:/Program Files/Java/jdk-1.8"
    Also, it failedto create the build...

      Bro it's wrong path.. Find android location c:/programfiles/android/androidstudio

    Thank you so much for your help. It totally worked. Dunno if I needed to install Android API 34 but I went ahead and installed that one as well, because it was recent. Thanks again.

    All it is showing is packagingResult : Error : unknown Error

    thanks for sharing, I tested the x86 JDK and JRE is required by Android Studio 4.0 ( Studio.exe ) on startup otherwise it won't proceed.

    Using this method i can build for topdown game but in AR template it shows build error brother help..it shows device s sdk status was not returned from turnkey

      "sdk status was not returned from turnkey" same here. Also I struggle with "accept SDK license" in project settings in UE. It says "unable to read". Same section I dont understand what to do with the 2 green fields. Do I have to do something at all when it seems all OK?

      @@paulberloth4302 actually that is not problem ,make sure you have proper SDK JDK installed

    The build crashes on launch..any idea..why it is happening?

    my system is taking too much time and after more than 4hr it just crashed the output log says mainly "garbage collector not very impact full"

    everything ran fine, but when it asks to scan the environment the cell phone screen goes all black. do you know what it could be?

      For me the AR template also doesn't work on version 5.1. I think thats the same for everyone, and I hope it's something that Epic will fix soon. If you want to use the AR project then I recommend using UE5.

    Very good video!!! I managed to solve all the compilation errors and managed to generate the APK.
    But I had 2 problems. Quick Launch does not work. (Failed to open descriptor file)
    And what is preventing me from continuing, installing the APK when I click on Begin Scan...nothing happens.
    How do I find out what error is happening inside the cell phone?

      Have you enabled dev mode on the device and checked "always allow USB debugging from this computer"?

    Dear Friend, My Android version is 7.1.2 on my device. Which SDK I have to choose and install.? cos the build gives error with the sdk version. Thank you

      According to this: developer.android.com/tools/releases/platforms#7.1
      I think you need version 25.0.1 or higher

      You have to both install the sdk and change it on the project settings

      I'm sorry, I forgot that you can't actually develop for your android phone with UE5.1 since it only supports android 8 or higher: docs.unrealengine.com/5.1/en-US/android-development-requirements-for-unreal-engine/

      I'm not sure if this is the issue, but shich version of Unreal Engine are you using? You mentioned "UE_5.0" in youre comment. This tutorial is for UE5.1. I'm not sure if that's the issue. Let me know if that helps or not!
