  • 1100cc 2 stroke triple
    Low compression readings when tested. Subsequent inspection tear down and rebuild. Oil in the bottom of the hull.

    I bet the middle cylinders plastic oil line broke; that's what happened to mine with similar results. I suggest removing the oil injection system and pre-mixing 40:1 gas/oil going forward.

    How do we find the other parts of this video?
    I believe this will be quite helpful as we have a STX 1100 with one cylinder that is pretty low compared to the others.

    Keep the other plugs in place and have a fully charged battery and I bet your numbers may improve.

      and squeeze the throttle also.

      In cylinder one and three that will give you a more accurate reading but that won't help cylinder two. The idea is to track down the problem.
