It’s kind of a forgotten concept except for some parade uniforms and I couldn’t find an English name for it but it’s called a “Lederkoppel”. It’s also possible to make it completely continuously adjustable.

Hey mate, after watching your videos I was inspired to do some deep diving to find out what my perfect barefoot shoe is and surprisingly it exists! I’ve learned to look out for key features based on your videos and it’s let me to this awesome pair of shoes called the ‘Magna Forest ESC’ by Vivo Barefoot. It’s packed with a ton of really cool features like 360 stitching, ethically sourced full grain leather, a merino wool ankle sock and leather heel counter. The best part is it has an outsole made by Micheline Tyres! Super rugged and durable whilst also being insanely comfortable. I would love if you could get a pair of these and cut them in half because based on what you’ve shown me is a good feature in a shoe this are faultless from what I can see. Love your videos, keep it up!
I get the jokes, but crocs are amazing. I work in forestry, if I'm not wearing steel toes or hikers, I'm wearing crocs. I was working in the sub-arctic on a drill program. Working as a Geo-tech. I would wear crocs at that job 99% of the time (insulated crocs, and regular depending on the situation). Working in a prospector tent teching and cutting rocks. And doing all of the heavy lifting around the camp. Literally shoveled out 6 feet of snow while in crocs - went snowmobiling to the drill in crocs, drove sherps in crocs, moved hundreds of tons of core samples in crocs in the snow, lined up drills in crocs (did have to put on steel toes when I had to go into the drills, but aside from that, crocs be it - I generally never went into the drill, only heading out there to check on progress, collect samples, or establish communications when the radio/sattelite relays failed). Even fought a diesel fire in crocs (a diesel space heater caught fire, melted the fuel hose which was fed by a 55 gallon diesel barrel, thus it was fed by a steady trickle of diesel fuel. Fireproof tent, which surprisingly worked, tent melted, but didn't ignite - and the oil barrel outside the tent didn't completely ignite because the tent walls contained the fire long enough to extinguish it. The one downside of insulated crocs is that they take forever to dry. When things warmed up and I was slogging through deeper mud and slush, they got soaked and didn't fully dry for days. (and while I did go snowmobiling in them, I do not recommend at cold temperatures or high speeds) I own 3 pairs of crocs. (insulated, insulated boot, and regular). Best footwear ever.
Perfect…. I’m going to have to tell my coworker about these boots. He says Red Wings, Whites, and Thorogoods are too heavy, so he buys a pair of cheap tennis shoes every other month. He’s also about 5 foot 3 so the 2 inches ought to make him feel somewhat taller! 😂🤣

Nice, liked that they had watched all of their Boss' videos and knew all of the buzz words. Well scripted. Those of us that started watching this after 4/1, it took a minute (well less) to figure out what was going on. The only thing missing was an appearance of the cat (probably could not get it to wear the mustache)
I think you should cut open the USMC hot weather 550 steel toe boots and the USMC rat boots!!! I'm curious what they are made out of and why they have lasted me 10 years!!

My father is a fisherman and he definitely uses them to their fullest as 60% wetness saturation helps a lot to keep his feet dry!
