    And another UltraOne repaired thanks to your channel! It was the 334 X2 capacitor on the power board. Total cost - 0,80 EUR for the capacitor and about 5 minutes of work. I would probably rip the cover apart if it weren't for your video hint with two tiny holes through which to release the clips. Thanks a lot for your videos!

      You are welcome 👍 yes, usually replacing that/those capacitors help, so it is worth a try if you have soldering gun.
      Also thank you, glad to read that it helped.

    Now I have replaced the power control unit. But you make it so easy. I could not disconnect the old faulty part. So I drilled two hole on the upside. When you enter the thin screwdriver in the two holes, it looks so easy. Not for me, unfortunately. I tried and tried.
    Anyway, I replaced the old with a new one. But on one side I could not put the new part correctly. I tried to push and push. Anyway, this is not your fault. I am very grateful to have my old vacum cleaner as it is a new again. As you can understand, I am not at all an enginger. Many thanks. The best vacum cleaner I have had - and now working well again.

      Yes, I already know how far to push with a screwdriver. Beginnings were also difficult for me, now I would replace it even at night, blindly 😅
      Maybe you had cables in the way of that hole, it can be really difficult. I am glad it helped you.

    Thank you very much for your helpful instruction video! A bit fiddly to get the speed control cover off using a (very) thin screwdriver (or something similar). You have to push straight in to relase a holding clip while applying upward pressure on the cover. After that it is straight sailing. Thanks again, very helpful, fixed my nice Electrolux!,

      The first attempt is difficult, hard to tell that how much you have to push, but after that one will master it like nothing.

    The only suggestion from me would be some "helping hands" for the little or otherwise boards to be sure and steady with the soldering. 😀 Just a thought.

      Probably someone on the train did the soldering, it looked like he spat it on that board 🤣 we are using “helping hands” only for mini components, like those on dishwasher / washing machine electronic boards

      If you are watching on phone/tablet then you can zoom in video 👌
      Micro switch was faulty, it turned on/off only under big pressure of my thumb, so that plastic button was not enough.
      Ad1: at first it looked like it was poor soldering (someone did a bad job) but that microswitch (4pin) was still bad.

    I have the same vacuum cleaner. sometimes it turns on sometimes it doesn't. I took it apart. I replaced the button. The same problem. after dismantling it is enough to disconnect the BUTTON OR POWER REGULATOR contact and it works again. Maybe Capacitor bad?

    • @proexservis
      @proexservis  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Usually cable is broken near plug (end of cable), it is important to measure resistance, if it is not broken, then measure on/off button (micro switch) then motor on contacts (on the board), if cable and motor is connected then only PCB board can be faulty, maybe capacitor/s or totally damaged. WITHOUT diagnostics is it really hard to tell what is problem if vacuum cleaner doesnt work at all, especially on model with NO display or with no LED light 🤔

     @proexservis My UltraOne EUO9GREEN (same look/build/components as this one) powers on but shuts down after a few seconds, is this a problem with the electronic board or with the switch, or maybe something else? I could upload a video if you would be so kind to help me diagnose the problem... Great channel by the way, your video has been very helpful with disassembly to get inside to the electronics! 👍

    • @proexservis
      @proexservis  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Hi, thank you, you are welcome 👍
      This vacuum cleaner has micro switch, good=it can be turned on/off at any time
      bad=cant be turned on or it can be turned on 1 of 3-10 times. So this is not problem of switch.
      This problem can be in cable, pcb or motor.
      If that vacuum stops without moving with him (or with cable/winder) and at the same time after turning it on it stops then it will be PCB problem (probably capacitor), sometimes it can work at low power but turned off on high power, you can try to repair it by replacing just that bad part or by replacing whole circuit board:

      Thanks for the speedy reply! I did get a small shock from the capacitor when I forgot to unplug the unit from the wall socket, so could this be proof of a faulty PCB/capacitor? I live in Sweden, so it is easy and relatively cheap to buy a new replacement PCB from Electrolux. Would this be my best bet to get my UltraOne working again?

    • @proexservis
      @proexservis  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @85Pushead yes, you get shock because it still work, capacitor can be charged and it still turned vacuum cleaner on, but it cant hold voltage to run too long, but best option is to measure motor first, resistance between contacts on pcb to the motor to be 100% sure that only pcb is faulty… resistance of motor should be 3 - 10 ohms to be in good condition

    • @85Pushead
      @85Pushead Před 5 měsíci

      @@proexservis Thanks again for the info! I checked the motor with a multimeter in resistance mode by sticking the pins into the motor's connector and later on the PCB contacts with the motor connected and it read 9 to 9.5 ohms. Is it safe to say the motor is still working?

    • @proexservis
      @proexservis  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Yes, up to 10 is good, if sound during running is ok (metal sound would be bearings problem). So if you are able to replace that capacitor then go for it, if not, just replace pcb 👍
