    Hi
    This E61, came to me with a few interesting issues... unfortunately, I kinda start to lose my temper and stopped recording half way through...
    Anyway, ended up recording this one, the inoperative parking system... and no, was not a bad sensor...
    Follow me on this video to find out what was the problem and how to resolve it.

    Excellent work yet again Luis and I am so pleased where you show shoddy electrical wiring work on the video. The person who remembered working on this simple problem could take a moment to learn from your clips. 😀

    Nice job Luis. That generic crimp connector tells it all about the levels of professionalism this fix was done with. I do love heatshrink crimp connectors but these regular ones are nothing more than a temporary DIY fix. Anyway, you did it properly as always.

    I've a problem with my 2009 E61, it is the same sensor that is not working as this video, I couldnt hear any ticking from it. I bought a replacement sensor as the wiring appears to be physically OK, but the replacement sensor isn't working either, again no ticking from it.

    • @LMAutoRepairs
      @LMAutoRepairs  Před rokem +1

      To rule out a bad replacement, check it on another position...
      Check/measure the wiring...
      It could be a wiring problem elsewhere...

    Tive uma situação parecida, exatamente no sensor frente esquerdo. Falha de linha. Cablagem completamente desfeita no conector do sensor e acabou por danificar internamente a unidade do pdc
