- Today we're bringing you to Al Maha Desert Resort where we booked a 3-night stay with Marriott points to celebrate reaching 100 countries!!
The Al Maha resort is part of Marriott's Luxury Collection, which is why we were able to book our stay here with points, mostly racked up from our travels to 100 countries. This all-inclusive resort in the Dubai desert is considered one of the best in the Middle East and is very popular for points redemptions, so we were excited to check it out!
We are Oskar & Dan, two Swedes who decided to change the course of our lives, drop out of university, and live life full-timeđ§đ»đ±đ»ââïž We've been traveling together for eight yearsâïž We're trying to see and learn as much about the world as possible before we settle down somewhere in the worldđș In 2022, we completed our goal of visiting 100 countries at the age of 25đ Check our CZcams About page for more detailsâ€ïž

OoOh!! boys!! you better work! Love it đ»â€
Great video guys. What a stunning location. I can just imagine how serene being in that pool looking out over the desert must feel. Great way to celebrate 100 countries!
How beautiful! It looks so romantic đ
Great video again, guys! The food looked delicious too. đ Lol @ the oryxes looking majestic and the oryx then deciding to ''relieve itself''. đ€Ł
Awesome job dan .
Beautiful trip â€
You guys show such great and interesting sites. Thank you!
Beautiful video. Thank you đ

Absolutely gorgeous
Amazing place!
Love your vids :)
OMG !!!! Incredible video was left speechless and thank you. john xoxoxo
New sub đ you're making me want to book several flights omg
The gazelles are soooo cute. Im dying
awesome!
Fascinating to see all this vegetation in the UAE. I admittedly picture it as a place of endless sand, but there's more to it than that, clearly.
Dear Boys, great to see you chilling out,in one if my favourite environments;the desert.
I've just got back from staying with friends in Oman,so have had a similar 10 days as you, though TBH I few out & back to London on their private plane.
Having lived in Oman with the family for 28 years,I know the country really well - my friends guest house had its own pool, with a view of the coast & the mountains, they went up to Muscat for 5 days,so we has the place tour ourselves.
I love Oryx - friends of my parents ran the reintroduction of these majestic animals to Oman, just seeing them bring back many happy memories.
I mentioned in the past of knowing Dubai and surroundings in late 70s/early 80s ,so am always fascinated to see how much the5y progressed.
I'm so glad you two had a wonderful time, you really deserved it after your frenetic adventures.
As always looking forward to the next time, whilst wishing you both health & happiness, with very best wishes to you& yoursđ„đđđđđđđâ€ïžđŻđâïž'sđŻâïžđ
Iâve been watching your travel and Oskar & Dan videos. Luv every episode! But Oskar has a hole in his pant! Luv it!
Wait where?! That's so embarrassingđ
@@OskarandDan when youâre having your Strawberry sitting on the sofa!
Yo! So last month, I stumbled upon your El Salvador video and then your post-100 country reflection where you plugged your 120 video playlist. I just finished all the videos in three weeks đ±
You definitely earned a subscriber. When compared to other travel channels I was familiar with, your channel is a breath of fresh air. Deeply appreciate your openness to other societiesâ functions and norms. While no channel is perfect, you guys definitely donât make me cringe with how you interact with locals. đ
Much love and keep prioritizing your mental!
OMG! Wow, you're a hero for finishing the whole playlistđ„șâ€ïž Thank youđ
That vegan food - incredible! Wow - can hardly believe it!
I literally broke out laughing @14:49
We were there last October for 5 nights (on points) one of the best hotels,Iâve ever stayed in. The service, the food, the view, the gazellesâŠ..just amazing. We also had a MAJOR rainstorm for about 2 hours! I was not expecting that! Saving points to go back!
Totally agreed!
WOW this looks like absolute heaven! Amazing that they were so vegan friendly as well, I had to pause on each menu and make my hypothetical orders đ
So glad I watched this just before bed, let's hope I dream about travelling to the desert and eating fresh dates đ
Yes we were blown away by the vegan food optionsđ
4:10 wHYD YOU DO MY MAN LIKE THAT LMAO
I feel like you guys are always in the Middle East! I would love to see you explore some new spots. :) Love this desert camp I would love to stay there... if I was super rich
5 of our 40 most recent videos are from the Middle East (if you include Tunisia) so?đ€Łđ
What are you talking about?? Most of their latest videos have nothing to do with the Middle East. Are you even watching their vids? Anyway for me I love Middle East videos since the hotels are so luxurious.
When were you there?! I was there the 2nd week of march, And in the same suite no.6!!!
Guys I slept in the same bed as Oscar and Dan!!! đđđ
Please continue these hotel videos! What a great treat for you two. Agree the food here is really special, It's amazing you can order the whole lunch menu at dinner as well. It's the crown jewel of the marriott portfolio.
We were there in Janđ So cool you were in the same suite!!
Well, I do the same food in mi own kitchen đ
I just don't know why this video makes me think of the queen's Elizabeth II trips. Maybe because the desert is turning into a luxury. anyway I love and enjoy watching your videos. Thank you.
I'm so happy that you chose to celebrate your accomplishment of visiting 100 countries in such a lavish but understated way. I appreciate you sharing this unique experience. What's next?đ€đ€Ș
More quality travels and other passion projectsâ€
Wow very luxurious! And the food looks yummy! (P.s. Tim Cook tastes rather bland)
Great videos!
đ€Ł
Not the first nice oryx you see during your travels - OK, the other is a logo ;-)
I want your lives! You are so lucky to be able to experience all of this.
Yes, we knowđâ€ïž
My first thought was âWhat could be more luxurious than the camp we had in Morocco with a double bed, heating, a toilet, and a shower?!â
Turns out, quite a lot đ Nice to see their range of vegan dishes as well!
HAHA, yeah apparentlyđ€Ł But we didn't have you guys there so it wasn't as special!
@@OskarandDan Time for another group trip? đ
I use my Marriott Bonvoy Amex for EVERYTHING but still wouldn't be able to get this many points. I guess I don't spend enough? Also I am only 1 person so yeah if it were 2 people's expenses (especially travel expenses) on my card it would add up? I would love to go to this place just for the gazelles strolling around outside. Love that there are so many vegan options. Curious how it would be for a solo woman traveler here?
Absolutely no issues being a solo female traveler!â€ïž
Isn't riding camels and horses not vegan?
Nice place, but Iâd suggest to never feed wild life because it makes animals dependent on humans. And if the hotel suddenly closes or whatever, then those animals will struggle to adapt back to wild conditions. So please donât encourage feeding any form or wildlife, terrestrial, aerial or aquatic. Other than that, I enjoy your videos and the way you travel.
personally I prefer the Qasr al Sarab or the Ritz in Al Wadi, as there are not so many desert adventure tours bringing in tons of people. Especially Qasr Al Sarab feels like 1001 nights, it is very secluded, very exclusive , but it is quite (worth) a trip from Dubai. The Ritz is nice, because there are bicycles to get around and of course the animals also come to your pool and porch....
What a nice video, thank you! How do you recognize guys from the north? They are swimming full dressed. I am thinking to do this with my partner. Did you have any recommendation for LGBTQI+ travelers? Love from Germany.
Gotta avoid that sun damageđ The resort is welcoming of everyoneđâ€ïž
you guys are great, the only thing missing is some bud light and dylan mulvaney. she's fantastic.
As a gay man, I would never EVER travel to the Emirates
