This is a review for the Marble Spaceport by ROKR. It was a fun build with excellent instructions. I don't recall having any breaks with the parts but it does come with a number of extra parts in case this should happen. There are a couple of operational flaws that can occur. The worst is an occasional jam as the balls try to load into the elevation mechanism. Usually, it resolves itself but sometimes does need an assist as seen in the video. I do remember having to "tune," some areas using a wooden file to make sure they moved or operated correctly. There is a part of the build where 2 balls accumulate then a 3rd ball comes along and triggers a dumping; Sometimes these don't load quite right and will cause a backup. The lifting mechanism has an axle that is kept in place by a small plastic ring on each side. If a number of jams occur I found sometimes that the small plastic ring will come off and make this area separate. I replaced the small plastic ring with another and it seems to be holding better but I still sometimes use a small clamp to encourage it to stay together.
If this is your first build this kit would be a great option though it's on the large side the instructions are easy to follow with several video linked QR codes to help with construction. Another fun feature of this kit is it comes with a USB-C connected motor to automate the device. This works very well and was a great addition!
