This project is taking forever, so I figured I would upload an update every once in a while. tags: #hexapod #engineering #mechatronics #robotics #robot #spider
Oh, thought you'd fix the vibrations with a smoothing algorithm on the output, since it seems to have raw output. I don't know what motors are being used since this is my first time seeing it, but stepper motors are very jerky with their movement, and normal motors have dead zones where they don't want to rest at certain angles caused by the number of copper coils.
Soviet Russia did it first after the time change.
Maybe just paint on this liquid insulation a couple of times, that stuff's cheap
try adding fillets and chamfers to your corners. radiusing increases strength significantly
i think rubber feet might work better
now add a machine gun onntop
Damn views are so low yet robot looks so cool
how about just dipping the tip of the legs in silicone? (maybe add some black ink)

when it's done, definitely make one out of metal, especially the legs
Are you running 30kg servos for all the joints? And about how much does it weigh?
Nice video, definitely subscribing. I love hexapods. Keep posting 🐦⬛👌
Wow! Super cool!
