It's weird when DC does more with black Adam more than shazam.
It's weird when people call Captain Marvel Shazam.
The real reason is that DC has never been comfortable showcasing heroes who are more powerful than "The Trinity" of Clark, Diana and Bruce. That's also why we don't see much of Dr. Fate. Now, Black Adam is useful as a villain because he's a serious threat to them but since's he's not a hero, he doesn't compete with them for fans like Billy would.

@@dankvalley6782 They nerf the Flash considerably by making him into a complete goof. Also, the Flash doesn't have godlike strength and doesn't have extreme durability. Remember that in the Flashpoint Paradox, the Thomas Wayne Batman showed just how vulnerable speedsters are when he put a bullet through Eobard Thawne's brain. Captain Marvel would have laughed that one off.
@@AvroBellow yes but Thawn took that bullet after a long fight with the Flash and he would avoid it if he wasn't that arrogant. If anyone from the DC gets to fight the Flash except from cosmic beings will get dropped.
@@dankvalley6782 They still nerf him by making him psychologically ineffective. He's a prankster, not a serious hero. He's also not faster than Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel has the speed of Mercury (God of Speed) and there was an issue where Superman told Cap "I can't catch him Cap, only YOU can!" and there have been several instances where Black Adam caught the flash.
What I was referring to is that Superman is at a serious disadvantage against Captain Marvel in a fight (unless he has plot shields) because Cap is magical and that's Superman's weakness. Cap has no physical weakness. His weakness is his need to protect innocents.
Characters like Black Adam make me love the DC Universe. One of my favorite villains that make DC villains so great.

Superman and Shazam aren't even the strongest heroes on Earth, let alone any of them being _"meta"_ but of course Black Adam is no joke for taking on both like nothing. He is the original Captain Marvel with more experience and has all the powers of Superman/Shazam/All the Egyptian Gods. Though his magic ain't close to Dr. Fates level, he has magic that would take down Justice League with sheer force, we're not even counting his Supermans vulnerability to magic and that's another reason Superman cant take on Adam in paper.

Lord Dracul here’s my theory. Since he is an antihero he will have a soft spot for earth, when Darkseid finally invades earth Black Adam will team up with earth’s heroes to put a end to his invasion. And in the process slowly making Black Adam go to the good side.

I would like to point out when Black Adam broke Captain Marvel's arm, it was when the Power of Shazam was divided among Captain Marvel, Mary marvel, and Captain Marvel Jr. meaning Captain Marvel was only at a third of his normal power. So That wasn't nearly as impressive as it sounds. However, you are correct about the rest of the feats you mentioned being incredible.
I'm so glad you did this. I was just listing to the Graphic Audio production of 52 and the events that led up to WW3. Black Adam has to be hands down the most misunderstood "villain" of all time. He's one of my favorite characters of all time

The weird thing about Black Adam is his powers are the same as Shazam's, but he takes on whole teams of heroes and even multiple Kryptonians at once, but Shazam always gets knocked out or neutralized at the start of every fight, and seems to be a B-List hero, when he should be A+.

Clay is right. Black Adam was more experienced and was very ruthless with his powers and knew a lot while Shazam is new to it and is still a kid. I think it also has to do with mentality.

Black Adam is such an underrated villain. That being said he dosent need his own movie just save him for Shazam 2
I think there's a lot of rich gold to mine in a rise-and-fall story starring Black Adam. Kahndaq's lore can be explored, the audience can see a superhero movie from the anti-hero's perspective, and it'll be the perfect set up for Black Adam v Shazam in that we'd've fully gotten to know both characters.

Thumbs up for Black Adam, he's a really cool character to dive into his history. Although there yet seems to be a writer that can bring a nice compelling story that puts up his full potential.
