Cool
Very good!
okey
nice
Black Adam is the Goat!!!!
black adam’s love hate relationship with the humans makes him such a fun character. you never know what he might do 😂😂😂
I love Black Adam but the movie has me nervous cuz I don't want him be such an antihero. He a freaking savage and shouldn't be redeemable.
Lol yea but in the comics he plays villain and hero but your right I want him to be a killer
True he is unredeemable but he does sway on the good side in the comics. Basically if it does good for Kandaq it does good for him
He’s been an anti hero in the comics for the last 10 years. He’s recently even been written in the fking justice league so what are you talking about??? I swear I’m tired of you phony black adam purist who never read a comic in your life
It’s so obvious you’ve never a black adam comic in your life. Black Adam hasn’t been a straight up villain in years. Black Adam is currently in the damn justice league
Do you actually know anything about black adam ??? Also did you not just watch the video?? Also you know black adam has literally helped the justice league in the comics right?
I am so hyped up for the live action Dwayne Johnson's black Adam movie. 👍 Thanks so much for the updated History video.
lets go d wayne
me to, its exciting. If you're a fan of Dwayne Johnson, you may like the video I made about him on my channel. Hope you enjoy it!
As a fan of Shazam and Black Adam, I look forward to seeing the film!
I hope we can see Black Adam sitting down on his chair with The rest of the family
Same
@@YThis114 because he is Shazam. The wizards choose a champion, black Adam was given the power of the champion but he turned out to be unworthy, the other Shazam is the good one.
I explained this kind of poorly
@@YThis114 The video literally explains your question I don't how you missed it, but yes there can be two Shazams there are multiple in current times but to keep it simple Black Adam draws his power from Egyptian Gods whereas Shazam(Billy Batson) gets his from Greek Gods. S.H.A.Z.A.M is actually a acronym with each letter being one of the Gods name
Since you did the history of Dr Fate, Can you do history of Hawkman, Atom Smasher and Cyclone along with the history of the Justice Society of America since they're going to play a major role in the Black_Adam movie? Also can you do history of villain of that movie known as Sabaac?
Yesssssss
Variant clearly heard you 🙌🏻
Love the content Can we get the history’s of Sinestro,Lyssa Drak,Vixen,Gorilla Grodd,Hyperion, and Hawkgirl
Black Adam’s more of an Anti-Hero nowadays, aside from that it’s very great to see the character gain attention thanks to upcoming DCEU movie while being a long time fan favorite character alongside Shazam, Doctor Fate and Hawkman.
Hell yea, and even Atom Smasher has a cool little niche fan base👌🏽
I really hope The Rocks version of Black Adam is really a anti hero and not just one in name only. He needs to do some villianous things.
I'm surprised that you skipped 52. To me, that's one of his greatest story arcs.
I am So READY FOR THIS BLACK ADAM MOVIE!!!! DC COMIC FAN FOR LIFE
Insane that Dwayne Johnson was a fan dream casting long before the Shazam movie and before the DCEU even existed. And now we're so close to seeing that dream become a reality ⚡
Can you do history of the Elementals, Cyclone and Sandman along with Kurt Conners the Lizard, Rhino, Kraven the Hunter, Chameleon, Scorpion and the Human Fly along with the Tinkerer, Alistair Smythe the Ultimate Spider Slayer, Living_Brain, and Prowler?
Hiring Rock as Black Adam was smartest thing the DC Extended Universe has ever done
They didn't hire him. He fought to play the character and put his money where his mouth was. He reopened the DC doors
@@Idkidk55957 do u mean he whipped their candy asses?
I just watched the movie and realised how a man with purpose can be a demi god
So called black people are black adam when we reach our full potential .
@Ian yorkland the originals Egyptians are black do your research .
I’m so tired of some of you phony black adam purist in the comments, bro has been an anti hero for the last 10 years in the comics and has literally help lead the justice league in recent runs. Bro hasn’t been a straight up villain in decades
FACTS
I know exactly which comment you’re talking about 😂 you’re right tho
Try 30 Years as an Anti-Hero... 1990s
Yeah, comic books fans always want the same exact thing over and over.
Thank god a few people know what's up 🙏
cant wait to see black adam movie, getting more and more excited
Can't wait for the movie
I really like his costume design even though he is a Egyptian villain he does have unique colors like a Black ranger with yellow and black suits🛡🛡.
*anti-hero
@@nkemnoraulmanfredini7286Yeah know everybody knows Black adam is an antihero now even though he did Shazam through a heck of rough life in the comics⚡⚡.
@@haroldalan7080 yeah,not only shazam
@@nkemnoraulmanfredini7286Black adam did really took down alot heroes besides Shazam like Superman and Flash while those guys powerhouses,Black adam,s magic is just as deadly.
@@haroldalan7080 I know
I'm so happy you included the 90s Black Adam origin... well done!
Can you do history of the Justice Society of America and the Seven Soldiers of Victory?
He's a villian. That eventually becomes a Anti Hero.
Thank you very much for educating us on another character!
Black Adam is one of my favorite Shazam/Captain Thunder villains
Now this story would’ve been amazing in the movie
I feel like you could have mentioned some of the feats he did in dc's ww3 like withstanding a mental blast from Martian manhunter and was able to pull and uno reverse card
Not to mention him beating the sh!t out of Shazam, Mary Marvel, Powergirl and like 30 other superheroes
Wasn't there a version of Black Adam where he was the lab assistant that killed Billy's parents? I seem to remember something like that when I first came across the character.
maybe an alternate universe comic cuz I never heard that
Awesome origin’s story about black Adam . Thank you Variant😊 great job.
I love the background music you guys use for these
Its October so it would be cool to get a history of Dracula in marvel. I read Bram Stokers novel last month and have been in love with the mythology. I would be very interested to see his comic book arcs.
So when are you going to do history of DC Despero since he is one of the biggest Justice League Villians from the Comics?
Is Dwayne"The Rock"Johnson the best choice to play Black_Adam in the DCEU? How come we did not see him in the first Shazam movie?
What do you think is the most powerful thing about Black_Adam apart from having the same powers as Billy_Batson/Captain_Thunder/Shazam?
He actually was mentioned in the first Shazam film when the Wizard told Billy about the last champion his counsel chose who was reckless and his desire for revenge unleashed the seven sins on Earth.
Just seen it really great portrayal might be my most top DC anti-hero.
Great movie 🍿🎥
Can’t wait for the movie!
A BRILLIANT INSIGHT INTO BLACK ADAM, LOVED IT 😎👍🏿
I love your videos. I always try to check them out before seeing new hero movies.
Am actually looking forward to this movie.
Personally, I prefer Black Adam's original and post-crisis origins, since it opened up the door for him to become a pretty compelling and complex character. A villain to be sure, but one with a just cause.
That’s a whole anti hero that you described
@@devonation8348 Neat.
Looking forward to this movie! As a fan of Shazam and Black Adam. I'm really impressed with Dwayne Johnson, even created a video about his life story on my channel. Either way, thanks again for the history
Do a history of Atom Smasher
I think Mister Mind or villain from first Shaz movie will be ones to bring Black Adam back to life as we see him in some sort of chamber
finally
I hope DC comes to own Hellboy, Spawn, n Mortal Kombats rights. I want more of those crossovers
It's ashame The Rock is above the comics & cherishes his image more than the actual source material 🤨
this!!!! literally every other cast member (the justice society members) talks about the comics in their interviews. they display a deep understanding of the characters. the rock just blabbers on about how he's brown so he should play black adam and thats it. he never talks about the source material.
🤔What exactly has The Rock said or done that deviates so much from the source material?
@@scinnyc First Amor De Rey . Getting on to the topic. I used to like the Rock but its clear he's protecting his image as he moves forward. I got red flags as he stated after the Alec Baldwin movie set shooting that movie sets should not use real guns on set anymore. Most recently Logan Paul interviews shows how he distances himself from people who make mistakes. To me that is F'd up. sketchy. I think its safe to say he would have a say and alter the image of Black Adam to better suite him.
Hmmmm
Teth Is only wanted peace for his motherland but if you try to invade it then you shall taste his Wrath.
Where is the evil villain laughing in the intro for October!!
You said they wouldn't use Black Adam's first Origin and They did Just That , Used His Very First Origin Story
I love the whole Shazam family..
I can't wait to see it
Black Adam first appeared as a one-off villain in Fawcett Comics’ The Marvel Family #1 in 1945, which featured Captain Marvel and his entire super-powered clan in different adventures. Back then, “Shazam” was merely the magic word Billy Batson said to transform into the heroic Captain Marvel. It didn’t become his heroic name until 2012, despite all comics featuring the character having the title Shazam! for legal reasons involving Marvel Comics. (That’s its own whole own quagmire, for which we will refer you to this explainer).
Thank u for the history of Black Adam
One of my favorite DC characters ever.
thank you
Impressive!
Awesome
How long till you do history of America-Chavez, Speed and Wiccan since these Young Avengers played a major role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness? Can you please do history of them in honour of the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?
Seeing it tomorrow. I kinda know about him from Injustice(game) and new 52. So excited!
He's a villain with or without a hero. But he's just protecting his city because it's HIS city.
Wow I can't believe that Monster killed his nephew what kind of a man dose that
What would happen if Black_Adam fought against other Villians like Darkseid or the Despero? Can you do history of Despero?
Now I am really looking forward to seeing this movie with the Rock in it, I just hope they do it Justice.
Also I like that running gag of how Black Adam is an all-powerful lightning God yet hes always getting his ass kicked by a 12 year-old boy
In most cases the 12 year old boy had help.
Knowing Warner bros, they’ll Deff 💩 the bed
Its called comics and the hero has to win
Those are crazy
really cool
Easy, he’s an antihero, much like Deadpool or Lobo !
Cool video.
Say what you will about the new 52, but it had some badass story telling
I was skeptical about the New 52 initially but I really came to enjoy it. I was disappointed when they ended it.
Where’s the villain month intro?! I wait yearly for them!!
I guess you can say he's....
Playing with the big boys now. 😎
13:56 I love it
They nailed every comic hero/ villain in the movie except for hawkman unfortunately
Is Thanos considered an anti-hero?
I don't think they will include him killing his nephew in the movie. They are going to make him more likable.
Does anyone know what comic that image is from at 13:55? Black Adam vs manhunter
Black Adam is a hero, but not a superhero. He’s basically an old school, Epic-of-Gilgamesh brutal king Hero
Interesting
I wish The Rock played a villain every now and again, Black Adam killing his nephew is savage and dark, DJ shouldve stuck with that but DJ becoming Black Adam in the DCEU after his son dying is too soft.
They should've made him a villain in this movie and then if they ever make a live action Shazam & Superman v. Black Adam movie in the future then have him turn into a anti-villain at the end so he can kinda redeem himself, if only even a bit. But because its Dwayne Johnson, we cant have it that way, they should've gone with another actor tbh, but hey what do i know?🤷
I've watched the Shazam movie he's one of my 8 favorites Justice League Members
I don’t care if he’s a villain or not I just know the rock is not going to do the character justice lol.
What happened to the podcast when are you uploading again?
I saw the movie last night. 10/10 Black Adam was AMAZING!
My only take away and it’s very small is I noticed in the film they only called Justice Society of America, “Justice Society”
Why they didn’t call them the JSA is a concern for future movies as in I don’t want these movies to become political or anti-America.
But, overall, I loved the movie. The Rock was AMAZING. And I could watch this movie again, and again.
Top movies of 2022
The Batman, Black Adam, & Top Gun: Maverick.
Excited for the future of DCEU after this and for all that haven’t seen it, huge surprise in the end. Won’t say what it is but I highly encourage y’all to watch it before it is spoiled.
Is Sabaac going to be the main villain of the Black_Adam movie which would lead to Black_Adam teaming up with the Justice Society of America? Can you do comic book origin of the villain Sabaac along with the Justice Society of America and the Seven Soldiers of Victory?
yep
pls make an origin video on SABBAK
Yeah I big fan of Michael Keaton of Batman since I was a kid
It’s seems to me that in the modern black adom story today the people who gained black Adoms powers to fight against evil has failed to see their own evil within themselves and so just like billy they truly believe they are doing the right thing but because they didn’t stop for a second and go within. they are blinded by the evil in their own hearts. It seems the only way for the wizard to have a true champion is if the black adom lives in someone who has mastered themselves AS WELL AS their demons so they can go and fight the demons in the hearts of others. The wizard originally believed that the vessel that holds his power as long as it’s pure (like a child) will be his champion but then quickly discovered that a child hasn’t mastered themselves yet and so the power within them will just be used by the VERY SAME evil that’s in the world 🤦🏿♀️. Aka the wizard just made things worse and a lot more difficult. Can’t wait to watch the movie when it’s out !

Hey with Season 4 for Titans coming out soon, would you guys consider a run down of Church of Blood? I dont know almost anything about them or their story. Dont want to go into the season completely blind.
Yesss
Can you look at the History and Origins of The Brain from Teen Titans/Doom Patrol🧠🤖
I've always loved Capt.Marvel & Black Adam characters. Capt.Marvel was & is more popular than Superman in the '40s, '50s,+ eras. Whenever his comics are sold, they out performed Superman.
WHY on earth DC just don't embrace the Facts of Sales, and embrace Capt.Marvel/Shazam as one of their Flagship characters is beyond imagination.
Black Adam. Is a Villain. He evolved into an Anti-Hero type eventually. Which DC should have embraced again and promoted the character better.
Elvis Presley was a Huge Captain Marvel Jr. Fan. Designed outfits based on CMJr. He collect every issue of CM, CMJr comics.
Is Black_Adam going to be more of an Anti-hero than a Villian in the DCEU? Do you think we will see him fighting against both Shazam and Superman?
If Teth Adam is calling himself Black_Adam, What would happen if Billy_Batson called himself the Red Adam?
If this movie is successful, it's because Dwayne is carrying DC like a few others have managed to do.
0:35 "roll that bumper" in the west indies that translates to shake that ass.
Pull up to my bumper baby. Patra
🖤 you BLACK #ADAM 1 Quintillion times.
#Dwayne Johnson nailed it.
💛 all your video's mate 👍.
I’ve seen the movie already just came out today
Comicans: "Thinking hero or villian"
The rock: "it doesn't matter what you think"
As long as it's good
Yooooo Black Adam set up DC for a win. That movie was AWESOME.
I'm here!
He’s always been a villain in my book! Love him tho 🔥
*anti-hero
Wtf ...he is been anti-hero almost 30 years...go read some comics dude 🤣🤣
jj black adam is anti hero hes not a villain read the comicbooks.
@@mrx-od3ji he was a villain
@@nkemnoraulmanfredini7286 he was always anti hero even fact he may have looked like a villain.
What was up with Black_Adam killing his own nephew and hogging the powers of Shazam to himself? It would have been better if the tables were turned for both of them.
Is Black_Adam getting a different origin story in the DCEU since he becomes the person he is after his son died because of his captors?
The DC-CU is a different Timeline/Earth# from the comics so anything goes. DC-CU is an Elseworld universe connected to each other.
DC seems to be embracing the idea of Elseworld DC-CU. Meanwhile Marvel is trying to turn the MCU into their only thing, erasing their comics for the MCU versions...
With the movie out, you really should do a video on Isis!
Black Adam kills without no remorse and personally I think he enjoys it, so make no mistake about it he is a likeable villain that you will fear, respect and be forced to make concessions two because of his power.
