- From E standard tuning we can lower each string down one half step/semitone to flatten each of the notes. We then have what is called Eb (E flat) standard tuning.
Jimi Hendrix was one of the first players I came across that used this tuning. Stevie Ray Vaughan always used this tuning. As did Slash from Guns 'n' Roses.

You can tune this on guitar tuna for free by tuning all the strings down by 10 :)
Cool thanks
The most help ive had from a comment than watching endless videos 👏🏽
Thanks
I love you lowkey bro
Put a capo on the first fret and tune regular
This was actually super helpful
Everyone makes it way more complicated than it should be
Ready. Set. Hendrix. 🎸
100% agree with your statement-Also, it seems like 90% of video posts are of people who haven't gotten over the concept that they are making an instructional video and drone on and on and on...
Best tuning video on CZcams! Instead of hitting the string once and waiting, you continuously hit them and it helps so much!
Home Depot theme, here I come!
xD
🤘💖😈🥁
most useful video on youtube. i use it literally every day. has it's own bookmark on my browser. thanks for uploading this
I tried every tuner down the list of search results, and stopped when yours came. Thank you!! I can tell just how you made your tuner that you are a real guitar player lol! Subbed!
Thanks and welcome 🙏🏻
My favorite Taylor swift song
One of her better ones
time to play some alice and chains'
"They tune themselves the rooster"
I like that Open E riff at the beginning. It's like Dun-Dun-Dun-Dun-Dun-Dun-Dun-Dun, then that transgression, wow. My mind was blown.
thank you so much, i just tuned my guitar in 3 minutes. Quick and easy not complicated at all
Thanks for this I wish people in guitar lesson videos would actually show you how the strings sound instead of telling you just to tune it down an octave
Thanks for helping me keep my 12 strings in tune
A thousands thumbs up. Because ive watched thousands of random tuning videos and this is the first that just worked the first play through. Lol
Finally somebody who knows what they’re doing
Very useful for vocalists struggling with the higher notes (ask me how I know!) but can be problematic on stage when you need to look down at your tuner, only to find it no longer makes sense!
how do u know
don't ask 🤣@@_.mayarama._
That lower tuning makes it easier to sing the notes that would otherwise push your vocal range.
Plus in between standard and flat is legit... eb makes stuff have a more surreal feeling to me.
I'm here for the Sweet Child o Mine solo
Same bro trying to learn it rn

This was SO helpful
Thank you kind sir!
My dog… u been help my acoustic stay in Eb for years!
i’m only here because i learned that a toilet flushes at the sound of E flat
Whoa!
Outstanding!
As a bass player
This would be so fun to play along with
Thanks. I use this everyday. It's fast, easy and accurate.
Here for some SRV Mary had a little lamb 🔥🎸
This actually sounds stunning
Thanks
Metal heads tune this way and so do Gospel heads cause the Choirs will have an easier time hitting the higher notes so they're very good friends.
…..Hence the Christian Metal group Stripper
When your too lazy to tune down so you play a fret down instead
that is what I am known for...
Two things wrong with this comment. #1 your open strings wouldn't sound right. #2 your guitar's intonation would be off because of the incorrect string tension. Fail comment.
@@Ironfootx1 Or U could just not be an asshole.

Zack Brown tunes this way too because the higher notes are way easier for him to sing.

Place capo on first fret. Tune down to normal tuning. Remove capo. Job done.

lonely day here I come
Is there a difference between E flat standard tuning and E flat tuning? Thanks
Don’t think so.
D# G# C# F# A# D# on my donner tuner
Metallica here I come
What metallica songs are in E flat?
it's freaken to fast when you just changed your strings you need to take you time and do it 3 4 times maybe as you will ajust neck, bridge etc.... stretch the strings. this is sooooo fast it's hella stressing. oommmggg why so fast. I dont even have time to hear my string and it's of to the next lol. please do next video wayyyy slower so I have time for my ear to work dear god. I need to set back the vid all the time. this is NOT a race, tuning is supose to be done relaxed and be fun and perfect.
That's why there's a PAUSE BUTTON. Also if you just tune your lowest string as a baseline note, you can tune the rest to it, and keep checking back to that string. Or, JUST GET A TUNER instead of complaining about someone making a convenient video 😉👉👉
Like, if this stresses you out, you need to relax and do some breathing exercises.
time to literally become billy joe armstrong
D# G# C# F# A# D#, right
its EB AB DB GB Bb EB
@@Chevelle3_ same
Why does the video just play all the notes at once at the end 😂😂😂I think that’s how they’d make me tune it in hell
I think green day uses this tuning for basket case for some reason. I'll tune it better than E standard.
ed sheeran perfect
weezer time
My guitar doesn’t sound like that
Let it ring a bit
Time to play some Slayer and Alice in Chains
Pantera - 10's
where are my deftones people lmao
Time to play about a girl!
Jesus Loves You
Malmsteen haha
Alice in Chains
Time for fuel
You go through it to fast. Wasnt helpful
He hits each one 8 times. If that's to fast, hit pause after every string.
when you run out of fuel you do throw your car away?
@@frankmoody-thefrank-9473 hahaaaaa
I’m going to commit the worst sin by playing bleed on a 6string acoustic
Thanks
