Marco Silver is a sound, more eye pleasing style of manager i'd be satisfied to see at West Ham. He'd be far more palatable for Tim to work with professionally because he is overwhelmingly more of a technical footballing man. The u21 & u18's squads, would trust that their learned skills will be more valued & respected in the first team environment.
His point on Moyes ego & winning for him was so on the money.

Not much of a revelation for me but I assume it can be seen to be less boring & predictable, if we have someone else talking about how boring & predictable we are sometimes!

slowly? this is interesting, what are the weaknesses of pragmatism - not considering that what may be pragmatically effective in a short term, may be counterproductive in a long term. Another weakness is not considering that what is pragmatically beneficious for some may be detrimental for others.

Prior to Moyes coming here I would’ve said yes. I think he’s done a great job at Fulham.
Should Moyes leave at the end of the season, I’d have to say no. We need as near enough as guarantee to achieving at the absolute minimum what Moyes has achieved as possible from whoever replaces him, when the time comes. That means competing for a European place.
Silva also signed Issa Diop. That alone is enough to rule him out.
Moyes has signed worse players.
