A few weeks ago on Sky
PEDRO said that Amorim is very particular about transfers. When he wants his guy he doesn't compromise. When I heard that I felt it wouldn't go down well with Edwards and the LFC model. I think that might be the reason. Unfortunately the other options don't look good enough. The managers maybe good but it takes a big personality to manage LFC. I'm not convinced the other managers have it.

It looks like Edwards is running the club. He wants to be responsible for contracts and recruiting with Hughes. Like other European clubs he wants the coach to coach. The one thing I have against Amorim is he doesn't have a very good European record it's all domestic honours. I would not be surprised if LFC went back to Alonso.

To be perfectly honest here, if Liverpool Fc don't get this right we could end up going the same way as Man Utd like after Fergie left. Klopp and Linders have focused hugely on man management which has been so so important at LFC and buying mentally strong minded players. We really need to get this right. Missing out on Alonso was a bad blow tbh and to miss out on Amorim would be a joke.
I really don't know why but i get a feeling that West Ham will trying to go for Joe Gomez in the summer transfer window. I think they will TRY and get both Gomez and Slabhead in (Watch this space) 👍🏻
Get a grip - Alonso just decided to stay put, so we didn't miss out on him and its mainstream media who suggested Amorim was Liverpool's 2nd choice, whereas Liverpool are looking at various candidates, let Edwards do what he does best and thats recruiting

Maybe the deal offered by LFC isn't quite what Amorim expected with signings etc, and he's flirting with other options to see what he can put on the table as a persuader to us 🤔
