- While on his 80th Anniversary tour John Mayall stopped in at Don Odell's Legends to help celebrate his 100th show!! To help with the introductions we had the Legendary Peter Newland of FAT come in and do the duties. John was an early inspiration to Peter so it was an honor to have Pete come in and pay his respects to the man who inspired New England's ever so popular band FAT. You can subscribe and be automatically notified of all new releases as they are uploaded.. Next month we have shows with Coco Montoya, Sugar Ray & Monster Mike Welch, Alexis Sutter, Albert Castiligia & Bobby Massano!!!

Great master of English blues. A life dedicated to bringing the best of the blues to the public and revealing talents.
We picked up this song in 1968 from John's Live Album "Diary of a Band Vol.1". and played it for months. I still love it!

I’m down with it man. The tempo is good and the guitar is busy but not shredding the solo. I also love other great guitar slinger’s wonderful versions, you’ll see the difference . I suppose it’s what you like. Myself, I prefer the slower tempo and sustained notes on these type of Blues. I love it all so please, don’t take me wrong . Matter of personal preference. Then of course 😮 there is Sonny Boy’s version. Over the years John Mayall and The Blues Breakers have left their mark on many Blues fans. I think Peter Newland of the historic Band FAT tells it like it is in the introduction. Thanks !!.😊.
