I myself have been around dogs in the past that my dads owned. Rottweilers, a pitbull and a German Shepherd. Neither one of them ever growled or tried to bite me or strangers. Only one time I can say out Rot was hostile, was a man painting my parents bathroom. He went in unannounced and our Rott to this as a threat. That being said, I am single and my Minnie that look after since my dad passed away three months ago, he has turned into my beer friend and is very easy to train, if you take the time to do so. I love that guy from the earth to the moon.

This video was most certainly made by someone who hasn't owned a mini aussie (MAS). The "big family" thing is complete BS. It has nothing to do with how many people are in your family and EVERYTHING to do with how active you are. If you're an active single or couple that also has the capacity for added responsibility and overhead on your adventures, aussies are great.

Semantics. Formerly known as Minature Australian Shepherd, but now known as Minature American Shepherd. Even breeders of top Minature American Shepherds will refer to them as "Minnie Aussies" in conversation. Not all breeders wanted to change the name. Moving forward; in the Past, I had three "Minature Australian Shepherds" but the current one I have is a "Minature American Shepherd." All Blue Merles, look relatively the same. Two from same breeder, one Minature American Shepherd, one Minature Australian Shepherd.

Aussies don’t call them Australian Shepards!! Blue eyes is a sign of pure bred collie! Collies came from the UK since there are NO native dogs in Australia apart from dingos!
These collies are sheepdogs so they shouldn’t be in a tiny apartment and need LAND! Great w kids and livestock
Never bred two Merle’s as they can be deaf and blind so breeders should be aware of this!
