I found the video when I was searching on how to do tumblers. I noticed that you said that you use white most of the time. I have been watching a lot of videos and someone else said that as well. That is very cost effective. Thanks for the information and very informative tutorial.

New to cups. I am confused. Maybe i have watched too many videos. I followed a video that said use loctite to get glitter to adhere, then polyurethane over that and then epoxy. I kind of love how you do epoxy and glitter on that and then i assume epoxy again after first has cured. Can you help clear up the confusion I’m having. Is there advantage to any one process. Also i am originally from Houston :-). Miss it. Now in NC.

Hi Katelyn! Thanks for the tutorial! I just tried the epoxy method and definitely love it, however after I applied the glitter and let it cure, I just feel the (rough) layer of glitter over the cup...it is not smooth like yours is (not smooth enough to put a decal over). The epoxy did serve as an adhesive for the glitter to stick to the cup, and the glitter did lay flat, but it is not smooth. Is your glitter sinking into the epoxy...so there is a thin layer of epoxy over the glitter? Is that how you are getting yours smooth enough to place a decal on afterwards? Thanks for the info!

I know this is an old video, but I wanted to ask... I did a glitter cup with 2 layers of epoxy but the bottom edge of the cup was still a little rough. Do you have a trick for this or should I do one more layer?
