It was already favored the Republic when it dropped, but the later changes (arctroopers, TX tank, Leia buff) made it even worse. If the 2nd phase made the cliff out of bonds for the clones, it would be somewhat solved, but no. Republic team has to consist of complete beginners to lose that one.
I have never gotten to play geonosis except for its initial release where only geonosis was availablle

Whenever I try to play Galactic Assualt I always get into a match where my team is completely annihilated. For someone who has been playing since launch this is really frustrating
Well that's the thing, GA has so many garbage design problems, it's borderline unplayable for people on the lesser teams. Thank God dice added conquest to the game, at least in that mode everyone can still have fun even if their team is dog shit.

My experiences with Endor go like this.
1st stage as empire: “Just sit on one objective with your teammates and you’ll probably win”
1st stage as Rebellion: “All we need to do is attack objectives together”
2nd stage as empire: “why are my teammates not shooting the objective with the biggest hit box?”
2nd stage as rebellion: “why can’t I use the AT-AT? How are we taking so much damage?”
3rd stage as empire: fucking remove overtime
3rd stage as rebellion: [braindead]

The Death Star is one I always enjoy playing on. Just something about repelling the Rebel Scum as the Empire feels oh so satisfying.
Crash X99 my only problem with the map is how all objectives are the same (overriding the panels). I reckon there shouldve been a capture the zone objective thrown in there

Just like how I love to play the attacker role as the Separatists on prequel maps. Something about the droids destroying the birth place of the clones or them getting a hold of the Wookiee homeworld or the capital city of Naboo, striking fear and sadness into a whole planet, is so satisfying

If you did starfighter assault there is one map where I will never play. Unknown Regions. Even worse, Unknown Regions as First Order. The other Sequel map is good, Endor is good, Fondor is great, Kamino is Amazing, and Ryloth is great, the only thing I hate about Ryloth is that sometimes I get spawn killed on the third phase. Not enough to annoy me compared to the Unknown Regions, where you get spawn killed on 2/3 phases, but enough to be noticeable.
endor as the empire is horrible as it’s nearly impossible to win as them and i always get spawn killed by an a wing since they spawn next to us but we spawn far away from the objective

William Mcpherson yeah but it’s not likely there gonna keep updating the game until the end of the year. Maybe a few more updates and most likely that’s it. They make no money from the game and they’ve basically already fixed there reputation.

I'd rate kashyyyk pretty low like a 7 I would rank star killer base higher but I do agree with you being the best sequel map, I would put Kamino #1, Death Star 2 #2, and Naboo #3 but also I would love a hero skin ranking also maybe a clone legion ranking

I had finally gotten around to playing bf2 and watching your videos has really been interesting and fun.
Also I should mention that just yesterday I was playing as a separatist in Geonosis, and we managed to take out all of the republic walkers before the ships were destroyed. The counter stayed glitched so that the number was zero, but the display bar was showing we still had to kill another, and we lost because of that. I like geonosis quite a bit, but that made me sad to take a loss I shouldn’t have had to take.
It's illegal to win as the Separatists on Geonosis that's why the game didn't let you.
In all seriousness that would suck a lot, I mean how often do you win as the CIS on Geonosis anyway?
And people keep acting like almost three years later the game is so good when inexcusable bugs and glitches still regularly occur

Still hop on every now and then into 2022. I thoroughly enjoy galactic assault whenever I’m not getting steamrolled by a team with hero domination. Good video keep up the good work.
Genosis second phase is a joke. You can snipe the objective with the objective tank from the middle Clift platform.
I'm dont think it works anymore. I was playing it the other day and I was camping on the cliff with another tank for ages. The objective remained locked impervious to damage.
Matthew Paddon to the left of the ramp that leads into the valley. If you can get the tank on the Cliff on the left there’s a bolder there that can make it kind annoying. But if you arch the Giant Ion shot just right it hits the base of the objective it’s long shot. I just did it like 2 hours ago today.

I like the esthetic of Endor and the creativity of the rebels having to take control of an at-at, but I think it’s too linear designed, and the last phase is actually horrible, like you could be stuck for a half an hour on it. I like the first phase of it, although I think 3 objectives is too much and should be lowered to 2, it’s still fun and has a pretty good lay out, the middle phase with the at-at is too linear and should be more spread out with more reason to go to the treetops, and the last phase should just be the castle like base that the at-at blows up, that part is super fun when you get to it
I always get so hyped for Hoth of Death Star, and also always back out for kamino and kashyyyk

Kylo Ren yea I feel you the first phase is just no fun and doesn’t fit my style of play, hero or infantry, and the last phase is honestly even worse but the middle phase is one of (if not the best) phase is battlefront 2. So much action, infantry equipment really shines here, it’s balanced for both sides, lightsaber heroes and blaster heroes (especially bossk) are all very fit to defend or take over the objective. Overall a pretty ok map.

Endor definitely deserves its spot! The 3rd phase is always super tense. The other day I was in a match where both teams fought into Overtime for ten minutes with neither side giving any ground.
Literally just playing Galactic Assault on Tattooine as Rebels. And everything you said about fighting AT-STs are 100% spot on. That said, I find an NT-242 with disruptor shot does just fine against the walkers, provided the pilot can't see where you're shooting from until it's too late.

I LOVE Crait but I’ve never won phase 1 as resistance, probably because first order have ties and walker while resistance only has ski speeder
Fuck that ski speeder it’s pretty much unkillable but it’s so bad against the ties
I’ve never really been a big fan of how powerful the vehicle objectives are, but I do generally enjoy those fases of the game since that’s usually where you can play all the vehicles and reinforcements and still have a good time
I always do really well on takodana and barely have bad experiences on it personally so really enjoy it

As someone who’s been around since close to the start of BF2’s lifecycle, I find myself playing more co-op these days, and small modes like blast and strike. Even Hero Showdown. The large scale modes just feel so sweaty these days and those golden moment where you can have so much fun are disappearing as very few new players are coming in to supplement my enjoyment lol.
I would rank Crait deadlast, because its just a sniperfest the whole time and if you are on the resistance side, you can't actually do anything because of the annoyingly Op At Sts and the Jet Pack troopers, that's why I find myself always quitting out, when I'm playing the resistance
I've never won as the resistance on crait.
@@scottcampbell1165 That's funny I've won almost all my games on Crait playing as the Resistance. IMO second and third phase of Crait are super easy to defend as the Resistance.
@@FactorySettings_ 2nd phase isn't super easy because of the rushing AT STs. They are even sniping with them (I can't express my hate for all AT ST main players), but most people somehow fail at the third phase, because they aren't playing the objective
I love crait, yesterday was my first time playing there and I won being resistance, its like a modern ww1 trench battle scenario.
I‘d love to see some maps from the 2005 Battlefront 2 being remastered. Such as Polis Massa: Medical Facility, Coruscant: Jedi Temple and Mustafar: Refinery. These were so much fun back in the day

I like the positivity. It’s not that you ‘hate’ anything or that they’re ‘bad’ just not your favorite.
Easiest way to win every match on Geonosis as the Separatists, let the Republic take the Damaged Walker early, hold mainly on the coms during phase one, once they take the walker, use the loads of cover to destroy it with sentry. If the clones get through to phase 2, let them get about mid-map, then spawn heavy, die, and spawn on a STAP Speeder. Use the speeder to run over to the back of the walkers, bombard it with the overcharge fire, then hop off and sentry constantly

The second phase separatists can never win, if u wanna win u need everyone to shoot it
I played on naboo today ( galactic assault) and my team was great we were the clones and I had the ion disruptor. I needed to cross that main pathway in the middle of the map so what my team did was make a wall of shields (the shields the officer uses) along the road for me to cross. We took out the MTT and it was one of the best matches I have ever played.
I basically agree with this list, I'd move the death star and yavin down one ot two and move Crait and geonosis up a few but thats it. Well done👏🏼

Louis Faulkner None of them are worth using, except for the T-21 for the heavy. Cycler is trash, the DL-18 gets outperformed, and the E-11D is almost identical to the default infantry blaster.

And the T 21 is a beast I find myself getting more kills with the single fire And for me if you want to use it at a longer range it’s best to have the camera lowered down So the shots hit instead of going over their head

Purple Blob Boi it's more versatile than the other two blasters. One is a burst rifle meaning the burst delay might sometimes be a hinderance and the other has a low fire rate making it a liability unless you can manage consistent headshots at close range. You have a solid all round gun in choosing the new rifle.
I really like geonosis if played by the clone troopers. Getting an AT-RT with the Arf trooper skin is just soooo epic
Galactic Assault is honestly an underrated game mode. It offers every type ground combat game play you could ask for. You want hectic trench warfare? Crait. You want grand scale, all out battle focused on vehicles? Hoth and Geonosis. You want tense urban combat with vertical mobility? Tatooine. You want an epic gauntlet of mayhem? Endor. You want close quarters combat? Starkiller Base and Death Star II. You want a mix of all of the above? Kashyyyk, Naboo and Yavin IV.
Oh how I wish dice would give us the han seen in the promotional art, and his episode 4 appearance, WHY DICE, WHY WONT YOU FIX HAN AND GIVE US HIS ICONIC SKIN

Yo Crait is so good, it's so different to others + visually it's absolutely stunning. Probably my favorite map in the game
