There is a wonderful hour-long video of Boy George at his home, shopping, and running errands. In the video he is preparing for the day and he discusses how his eyebrows are extremely thin and he applies makeup so they stand out. He is very aware of how to maximize his look and break the mold. I do not understand why he has not been given a pioneer award because changed minds and empowered many who were underrepresented in society. Decades later, the earth did not explode and we are better for it even if many of us do not fully understand.
Oh yes! This was taken from 'Entertainment Tonight' a TV show from USA that I used to see on Channel 8 on AFRTS by the Yankee Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay when I lived in Caimanera, so near them! It was fabulous and the only way to be updated with the things in music cos I had the chance of watching a lot of the TV programs they used to broadcast there then and from 3 radio Stations too, thanks to that I watched America's Top 10 with Casey Kasem, Soul Train, Soap Factory, Solid Gold, Ney York Hot Tracks... thet were the best times of my life! A lot to say, but I won't be boring, just to tell you that for a Cuban man, this was to have the Best chance in life of enjoying what it was, and still is -sadly-, far from our National TV!
The fact that George is so open and honest about everything has always been an much appreciated part of his personality. ;-) ;-) ;-)
