On Passat CC: - for the front doors connect red to 18 and brown to 19.

In this video we are going to show you how to install and activate door logo projectors on a Volkswagen Passat CC. This also applies to Volkswagen Passat,MK 5, MK6 and even Tiguan. It is a very simple operation that takes less than 15 minutes for each door and the end result is pretty cool. You won’t need many tools but a diagnostic software is mandatory to activate the lights. The projectors are very cheap , you can order them online and activating them is realy easy so there is no reason why yous shouldn’t do this job yourself instead of paying a specialized car shop.

Hi ! I would like to know what kind of cables should be used for the front doors to connect the two logos. Should different cables be used for the back? I understood that the tip entering the mode is different from the back

Love the vid! However as a DIY VCDS is a little bit expensive for me, ive seen obd2 scanners such as obdeleven which can access modules but that one requires monthly payment.. Any cheaper substitute? Thanks!
You can find cracked versions of VCDS super cheap. Multi brand diagnostic tools can 't do this.

Yes you can, but you will have to search for other tutorials on youtube. We haven't had the opotunity yet.

How can i do it, if i dont have the VCDS? I only have USB versions.
You need a diagnostic tool specially designed for VAG. Sorry
I did it on front doors ,but on rear side plug is different , how to connect on rear ?

On Ali Express it says it is compatible with : VW Teramont 2017- VW Touareg 2011-2019 VW CC 2009-2019 VW T-ROC 2014-2019 VW Arteon 2017- VW Phideon 2016-2019 VW Sharan 2012-2019 VW Magotan 2007-2019 VW Passat 2005-2020 VW Golf 2010-2018 VW Sagitar 2006-2017 VW Tiguan 2010-2017 VW EOS 2008-2015 VW Scirocco 2009-2017 VW Jetta 2006-2014 VW Touran 2016-2018 .We did not have the chance to install it ourselves on scirocco so I can't say for sure. How do you connect rhe passengers side?
For the rear doors you mean? I made a different tutorial. It's in the description of this one or you can find it on the channel.
@@TheDIYWorkshop2020 Actually I mean passengers side but I was looking at many different tutorials and I mixed up the Puddle lights and footwell lights🤣. Do you know how to connect passengers side footwell light?

Before buying the lights check the specs as they should give a list with supported makes and model.

Would this work same for the Volkswagen Scirocco?
I honestly do not know. If there aren't any tutorials out there for this make and model I wouldn't bother. Also some viewers found that this doesn't work on newer Tiguans.
Am încercat să montez același lucru pe un tiguan model 2018, dar nu funcționează în pinii pe care i-ați folosit voi, la mine nu are pini scoși la 18-19. Posibil sa fie diferit.
Foarte posibil. Mulțumesc pt informație. Cineva a întrebat dacă merge la un Sirocco dar chiar nu am încercat.

Someone said in a comment that it didn't work on a 2018 Tiguan but we haven't tried it yet. Sorry !
