- Finally making some progress on the rc4wd.com K10 Build-Off entry. Just having a few issues but jumping right in to all the little pieces to the kit and the weathering of them.

Looking sweet man! You could try a few coats of future/pledge floor polish on the bumpers before weathering with the AK. May provide a barrier and increase workability. I do this before oil washes.
That trucks looking great! 👍 I posted on a past video about gluing windows, not sure if you ever read it. I have the holy grail of gluing clear windows. Been using this method all my RC life 40+ years. Canopy glue for RC airplanes. You can thank me later for the tip. Hope this works for others if you pass the info along. (Pacer Technology Formula 560 Canopy Glue) can be purchased at AMAIN, Horizon, Tower ECT…. Hope this solves your future gluing issues. 👍

Josh Idk what kind of glue you use to glue your windows in, but you should try _Model Master/Testors: Clear Parts Cement & Window Maker._ It is hands down the best glue I've ever used for gluing or making windows, it's fairly cheap, it comes with a fine application tip, it dries totally crystal clear, so if you happen to have any squeeze out it's not noticeable, but best part is it cleans up with 70% to 91% Isopropyl/Rubbing Alcohol which won't affect the plastic.

I know I know, I messed up. lol I was in a hurry and just grabbed my tamiya cement. Then my goof-off pretty much ate the plastic. Drying clear is a necessity, I will definitely look for some of that stuff! Thank you for the tip
Find an old leather chair and cut the overhang off the back or bottom.
Oven cleaner strips chrome I've heard
We use mr muscle oven cleaner on chrome parts over here in the uk 🇬🇧🇺🇸👍👍

insted of lexan cut wings out of side windows and glue on cut out the wings use the channels to line up and glue
you know it exists : not sure how it's called in english , but there is a de-cure , uncure =? liquid for CA glue ? it undoes cured ca glue ... it comes in a little bottle like CA glue ... look for the one without acetone though , or else it will make your windshield worse. can't recommend a brand available on the other side of the atlantic, but i'm sure something like this exists over there in your big country : ) hope it helps !
lol, it does, and I have some, that I didnt remember I had. Unfortunately my prior attempts have ruined the window already. lol But Ill give it a try next time.

That song is called california wind. No idea who made it, it was free in the youtube audio library. lol Been using it for many years.
So here where I live in New England. We have Ledgestock. Im trying to build my first tf2 hilux for it. Im trying to figure out how to make the doors open and close.
The rc4wd 4runner body has a simple hinge and magnet setup that could be made to work on just about any body. Just cutting them open is the scary part, lol
Is there a rear slider window available?
I havent seen one, the kit comes with a sticker for it but thats not going to cut it, lol. Would definitely like one for it.
