One thing people often don't realize is that if what you offer is worthwhile most will totaly overlook things like bald spots and what not. I wouldn't have noticed it if she didn't mention it:)

@@ElSauxy02 Well, to be fair, at the time (2009) it was the worst most of us had seen in our lifetime. In light of the current crisis, it doesn't look "that bad", but it was terrible for those who lost homes, jobs, lifetime savings, etc.

I remember me looking for a double-baked potato recipe 3 years ago, found her, then binge-watched all of her videos right before Christmas. Since then it's a must every year to 'catch up with Clara'. Back then we were reaching 150 000 subscribers. Look at us now, what a community. She still connects us.. Keep us posted. We all appreciate it.. xx..

Every video, every single one, Clara never fails to say something that reminds me of my recently deceased grandma. This time, it's complaining about her bald spot showing.😂😭 I miss my gramma SO very much, and Clara helps trigger the most pleasant of memories (of which there are too many to number). Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

When I watch her I get joy because my grandma passed away March 10th 2020 at the age of 79 she would have turned 80 this year and she was the same way that Clara is I hope These two women Clara and My grandma are both happy in heaven. GOD BLESS EVERYONE!

My condolences. I lost my paternal Grandma on 84; she was 82 and I was 16. It devastated me and I miss her every day. My maternal Grandma passed away Christmas Day 1988. I wasn’t as close to her as my Dad’s Mom who lived next door. How blessed we are to have Grandmas that we will cherish the memories of for the rest of our lives. I pray God gives you and your family peace and comfort in your memories.

I am lucky to still have a "Clara" in my life. I have an Italian grandmother who is 88, and I still cook with her to this day. It is hard not going over there because of this virus, but we will go over as soon as this is over. Thank you for sharing Clara with us!

She went through so many changes not only with the great depression, but to radio, 45's, 78's, switchboards, wall phones, party lines, private lines, long distance charges, cassettes, 8 tracks, cell phones, computers, discs, and on and on. To experience all that and more in her lifetime! Missed seeing her, so glad to see her videos back! A Treasure! Thank you!

Clara was a beautiful soul and I love her simple recipes and her wisdom. I wish I'd known her, but in so many ways, she reminds me of my own maternal grandmother who passed almost 2 years ago. The same outlook on life, the same positivity. Bless her soul. ❤
