Kudos to the great effort including the visuals and excellent editing. Orchestra was at its best fine. Singing was like spb janaki Singing this song.
At the time this song and Ninaithathai nadathiye mudippavan song was played daily in vividh bharathi (competition of most number of listeners) both taking first and second place (maari maari). See how Msv created a Benchmark for tamil film songs - a regular pattern he did - making his own songs a challenge to himself to a newer heights. Msv - an unsung hero of tamil film music.
As Subha madam says msv's brass section is always a miracle and great challenge. An entirety in itself. You only listen to the song Angay surippavargal surikkattum and it stands as a proof.

Venkat, Selva, Sundaresan, Venkatanarayanan, Vigneshwar, Karthick, Laxman, Keerthana, Sandheep, Derick and Francis group did an excellent job. Siva very nice editing. It was another epic. I saw sivanda mann duet by shivaji, kanchana and the beautiful background music from my memory. It was a great wonder that i was able to recall the whole lyrics. Those days are golden period of tamil cinema.
