I purchased this tool because of your video. It arrived yesterday and I used it today. My hair turned out great! I will never use a flat iron again to straighten my natural hair. It even laid my roots down on the first pass. Definitely have to blow dry hair first and use heat protectant along with a great leave-in conditioner. Also, using very small sections was a must!

True, however long thick hair is NOT the norm for us on average. Hence why we fawn over long thick hair. Etc.

@@eduardaarrais Then they need to learn their hair type, porosity, what hair products work for them keeping it moist and if they are lacking any vital vitamins in the diet. The only reason why so many can't retain length is that they arent keeping hair length is mainly because they aren't doing the above or not all of the above. I thought my hair can never grow until I learnt what my hair needed and now I'm retaining length all hair grows its how you look after and maintain hair. As for thickness, I can agree some women hair is finer, not thin depending on the hair density and curl type.
@UCkcPgz96rralASW7w46lpAA it's really because long hair meant and still does equal to beauty especially within the black community it's not that long thick hair hasn't been retained by many and still is. It's hat we've always thought shorter hair isn't nice. Hair density varies depending on curl type some have thick hair some have finer hair but its never thin unless damaged majority have thick hair some finer if curls are looser and even then some who have tighter curls have finer hair it really depends I hope we all reach the goals we want to achieve so long as health comes first :)

Introooo, yasssss. & I also agree ! Those little flyaways I have is mad annoying and it irritates me. I usually spray "got2b" freeze spray on my finger, start pressing my fingers together and wait till it get tacky then lay them down one by one "literally". It doesn't weigh heavy which I like it just does the job specifically. Whenever I try to spray them down it's always the few that never wants to work with me.

@@TeaRenee You're so welcome and for an extra hold you can use a silk scarf and take it off slowly then comb out your hair but try not to re comb out the part that you already placed the Got2B (specifically the top middle part.)
@@TeaRenee You can also try using a little edge control on the flyaways or extra hold gel, like Shine N Jam.

Breakage where? I don’t see that. What I see is a thick healthy head of hair. Your cut looks so good. When my hair was relaxed I did blunt cuts often but I’ll let my hair grow some more then eventually do that. Thanks for sharing.

you’re hip to it’s a 10! that’s my holy grail product. that and the aphoghee restructurizing spray. It’s water bases so it doesn’t weigh your hair down at all.

I’ve tried straightening combs(?) like this one and it just didn’t work out for me. It’s probably my technique. Your results are very nice though. I have some breakage at top too :( i can lay them down with some gel when my hair is curly but when it’s straight? Whew........ imma just let my flyaways do their thing.

Thanks for finally listing the main product because that is what I asking about in one of the other vids as I figured you also prob use something like Frizz Ease as well in order to get the results you want for most of your silk presses. I also like Paul Mitchell products along with a good heat protector creme/conditioner, too. As a result, my hair has grown very long because I don't have to keep putting heat on it, lol. Btw, can't wait to check out the other products you listed here.
I need to try some Paul Mitchell products!! But generally I don’t use products before straightening not even heat protectant which I know I should lol but I wanted to try out some new stuff. Let me know what you think ab the products if you end up using them♥️♥️
@@TeaRenee Thanks, I will be sure to do that. Also, the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum works really great. Just one drop and really thick (even coarser hair) instantly starts to lay down. You generally use it before blow drying but it can be used like a hair lotion or anytime. Especially if you want to put your hair into a shiny slick neat and smooth pony tail/bun on a bad hair day, just wet hair and add it, lol.

If u ever want your hair super bone straight you can double silk press your hair which is flatting your hair with the flat iron then going back over with the hot comb . If you are worried about heat damage put the second heating tool you use in a lower temp setting .

If you want to bump your ends, you do the same as you would with a flat iron, and wrap it a bit as you get to the end. You can bump the ends and you can curl the hair as well.
