With the advent of LIDAR and greatly improved geophysical apparatus, and some much deeper research and area survey, it's highly likely the tower and related settlement will be found.

This was really well researched and presented . Problem is there are so many idiots with access to cameras and easy
edit facilities it's difficult to get your stuff noticed among the
dross . Keep it up and Good luck !

Just watched The Curious Tale of
Lagville . Just as good as previous. . The name Lagville is
      rather strange but obviously an
      anglicised version of the original
Gaelic name . As it would have been at that period. My educated
guess ( as Gaelic speaker ) ; the
original name was almost certainly Lag a ' Mhuillin -- pronounced Lagavulin - just like the Whisky . The literal meaning is : the hollow by the mill . So , there may have been a small water
powered mill close by . ? Also similar to the village of Lagg. ( the
      Hollow ) . ?
