I just downloaded MacX Ripper Pro onto my new MacBookPro M1 Max running OS Monterey 12.4. I understand that MacX Ripper Pro should automatically add the DVD art to the Icon after it is finished ripping, but, I have not seen that on my conversions so far. If you know of a setting I'm missing, I'd appreciate it. Also, I see a box checked for Intel/AMD/nVidia.....does this have to be checked for my MacBookPro, as I have know idea what graphics card it's using....Loved your video review.

I never had the art added automatically. But I will ask the question. I’m running the same setup as you and didn’t tick any boxes. They are kind of irrelevant as Mac is using its own silicon and has no dedicated GPU. I think this is a hangover from windows as these are always the first choose then Mac. I do genuinely like the software though. 👍🏼

@@SeenThroughaLens Thanks for responding so fast. Yeah, I've been using handbrake, but to get it to rip commercial disks, you have to download homebrew and install something called the libdvdcss file so it overwrites commercial disk protection...what a pain...so, with MacXRipper Pro, none of that. But, supposedly, the software should get the dvd art from the disc you're ripping...I didn't sse that happen and was wondering if you were familiar with it. Thanks again, great podcast...I've suscribed.

Does MacX DVD Ripper Pro allow for CHAPTER MARKERS? So far i can't find the option. MacDVDRipperPro DOES. Far superior to MacX DVD Ripper Pro---which i consider a rip-off; sorry AF i accidently bought MacXdvd VS. MacDVD.

Hi sorry you feel ripped off. I just test certain features. Not enough time to always go through all the features considering I do this for free. I made this a while ago and can try and check for you.

Yup. Finally said fuck it, paid for MacDVDRipperPro. When i paid for MacX a couple yrs ago, it had something to do with clicking the wrong something, and then it was too late to reverse the charge or something. MacDVD is superior in that it dleineates the chapters, at least for mp4s. Convert to an mpeg to burn a DVDplayer-usable disc and the markers are unavailable anyway.@@SeenThroughaLens
