This video could’ve easily been 2 hours lol! Her confidence, technique, power, timing, metal fortitude, and overall athleticism is unmatched! Serena is without a doubt the GREATEST OF ALL TIME! Thanks for these videos ❤️
Confidence,mental fortitude and technique for the serve are unmatched, but her all around athletism isn't unmatched, Halep,Klisjters certainly can match her and exceed in speed/defense based athletism.
She even in her prime isn't the most powerful player anymore, Keys,Osaka,Andrescu,Sabalanka and Swiatek have hit bigger shots than SW ever did, some of them have matched her fastest groundstrokes with more topspin than she did which is a better feat of strength imo ( in fact Andrescu in that US Open became the first WTA player to truely match the average MPH and RPM of a ATP players stroke, she matched Federer with 73mph and 2850 rpm) which brings me back to SWs technique for other shots ..... its just primitive nowadays, too flat and mechanical, a player with variety and good defense WILL break those strokes down. She doesn't possess the more fluid stroke production of a modern player which give ease of control and a choice of either extreme spin and/or flat power as well as proper set up for touch shots on the fly.
This isn't full on hating SW, she earned her success ,just i do believe that Graf is the real GOAT, and a fair argument can be said for Navratilova.
And this isn't even counting the elephant in the room .......

I like what Swiatek brings, modern tennis , more consistent hardcourt sliding, variety and more heavy shots especially the FH.
Watching Serena demoralize opponents never gets old. You can literally feel her opponents thinking, "Why am I even playing tennis?"
She won't be around much longer so we need to appreciate her while we still can. She's just incredible I love watching her!

usually for me its hard to really understand the power of a tennis star watching these clips online but with Serena you can really tell how insanely powerful her backhands are with the speed they travel.
What a treat to see these matches. I have been a tennis fan all myife. I am 77 years old and I was from Forest Hills, NY. Watched Serena and Venus from day one. What they both have done for the game is phenomenal. It would be outstanding to see longer clips of their matches or maybe some discs.
Glad there is footage of Serena Williams tennis matches. Some of her opponents did not make a effort to return her serves. Her forehand spin on retuning a server is amazing. Her serves and her backhand returns are powerful. Enjoyed watching this video. She has brought her own style to the game of tennis. Thank you Serena Williams!
Serena retired a lot of tennis players from playing tennis forever. She is in a class by herself! Lucky to see her play several times in person.

I think there is a chance that another generation will raise the high bar of tennis that serena set, since the next generation is supposed to be better than the last. But there probably won't be a player who impacted the sport as much as the GOAT in a long time

With everything going on right now with mental health, Serena faced much more and still produced this spectacular show of skill and agility. I think she has earned her GOAT status with or without 24. I would like to see how far she can go. Great memories Serena! Simply the best!❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
Of course. For me, what separates Serena is that she had that intimidation factor. As GREAT as Margaret Court and Steffi Graf were, they didn't strike fear in opponents like Serena did. There were great players that were legitimately afraid to be across the net from her. She had that Michael Jordan/Tiger aura about her where she defeated opponents and broke them down mentally before the match even started. Plus, the fact that she's still competitive in her late 30s & now at 40 is pretty crazy. Steffi graf won her last major at 30. Margaret court won her last one at 31....Serena has won NINE majors after 30. Just pure domination, homes :)

I know Serena could win at least two more Grand Slams. However, she has to do more than she ever has before!! Because, her body is conducting itself the way it suppose to act!! It slows down the older we get. So if she’s practicing at the same level she’s done all her life, THAT WON’T WORK!! She has to up her training to compensate for the speed she’s lost.
Then, add to that, an add’l 15 pounds she’s carrying. She’s very curvy with a nice behind. But she HAS TO make concrete changes to keep up with these younger players. Practicing & working out at the same level she did for yrs isn’t enough now. Doing the same thing w/o any major changes, will give the same results!! For example, doing exercises 3 to 4 days a week and, watching my calories worked for years. Now that I’m older, the same amount of exercise and calorie intake isn’t working. But adding 1 extra mile and more veggies was my answer. We know she can do it!! We love our girl, Serena!

I watch her matches all the time still to this day. She’s an absolute beast.
I read that her racquet's swing weight is heavier than Roger's, that's why her shots are so powerful. But it is also much harder to handle, even for a man.
The ball moves so fast sometimes I miss It. In the doubles with Andy I think even Serena was like am I human. She’s just unbelievable. My favourite tennis player 🎾🤍

I have been following them since they went pro I learned about the Williams Sisters when Arthur Ashe and John McEnroe had a tennis show together during the Tennis season the last season through out of their shows they both was talking about The Williams Sisters ! Beat what record? Look up the "Open Era" record and you will see Serena at #1 and Graf at #2. Magarett Court won half of her titles in her own country at a time when no one traveled to her country to compete. Margarett was the best in her country, not the best in the world. She has only 11 or 12 Open Era major trophies. You know her name only because they knew Serena would break the "Open Era" record and they needed some white chick to falsely compare.

Just image Venus was the natural talent, Serena had to work hard to out do Venus. Women's Tennis will never be the same. There will be newcomers in the near future but none like the Willuam sisters. Maybe little Olympia will take her place. That would be fun to see.

As the women's circuit normally has new winners on each tournament.... the more i appreciate Serena the way she dominated tennis.... after, she gave birth... she never won a grandslam... BUT, she reached four grandslam finals.... can u name any wta player who reached four GS finals after serena gave birth?

If you know the story of Olympia’s birth (after), something about that will never be right to me. I blame the hospital for her lack of comeback. Many black women tell weird birth stories (WAY MORE THAN WHITES) and something struck me when she told hers. I believe most her Serenas losses were because of her own dominance. Sometimes when you play against people you know you can easily beat, the excitement and competitiveness drops from just plain ole boredom.
Funniest thing I ever really heard from Venus when she said after all she did win Madrid , and Rome I mean I was rolling with laughter like rolls of jelly in my belly it was just so doggone funny!! At least give me a chance pleeeeeeease .....Serena? Is probably what Venus says to Serena when their somewhere alone.
A great underated talent of serena is her ability to problem solve when when down in under pressure. She is able to lift herself up a gear by building points with a combination of variety and power in difficult moments. She has truly dominated the sports world of tennis her power mental ability Perseverance is surreal and unmatched.💪
