    The stock rear fender on the Honda CRF300L can be bulky and hazardous while riding off-road. The Tusk Fender Eliminator Kit cleans up the bulk by removing the low hanging rear fender, relocating the license plate and centralizing the lighting. These changes provide a clean, practical solution to a bulky stock rear fender while giving your bike a more aggressive off-road presence to set it apart from the crowd. In this video, Charles shows how to install the Tusk Fender Eliminator Kit on a 2021 Honda CRF300L.

    Compare 2:00 with 6:10. That looks like a fairly large hole between the two upper mounting bolts where mud and other trail debris can get into places it should not be (especially if you do any muddy wheel spinning). Is there a piece to cover that which was not shown in this installation?

    Excellent video explanation. I purchased the Tusk fender eliminator because of this video and it works perfectly on my CRF 300L. Thank you very much for taking the time to do this video. Well done.

    Is the a piece included in the kit that covers the hole at 6:00 that wasn't shown?

    I'm looking into replacing the bulky plastic in the rear, but I don't like the idea of cutting wiring off the old parts.

    I would suggest wrapping the wires with protective wire loom.

    if i don't use the white numberplate light will this cause the tail light to not work? ive noticed the brake lights still function? thanks

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  Před 4 měsíci +1

      The white license plate uses its own connection and is not tied to the brake light. The brake light will work regardless of if the license plate light is connected.

    will this fit on a 250L

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  Před 2 lety

      Unfortunately, this is designed specifically for the CRF300L.

      Is the subframe different (aside from being welded vs bolted on) than the 250L? Like are you saying it’s for the 300L because that’s what Tusks website says or because it actually won’t fit a 250L? I don’t see why the mounting points would have changed
