- This is how you pick the perfect team in Pokerogue for starting a new run in classic or endless. You need a carry/wide hit pokemon. You need a Pokemon with PKRS (pokerus) and you need to cram in as many shiny pokemon as you can. Good luck to you.

They just nerfed it to hell, tinkaton no longer has huge power, and groudon nmm on longer has protosynthesis and now has flash fire

So basically the best answer is Excadrill. Good, fairly fast, good types, spread moves, set up opportunity, high attack and decent defense etc. Quite the common pokemon etc.
Yah easy to farm up, relatively. Covers a lot of bases.
I use excadrill almost every single run. My current run on floor 165 has a 500+ HP excadrill that pretty much is the sole reason I'm at this floor (along with nihilego)
I personally love using Cinderace with No Guard and it’s egg moves. All low accuracy so useless without no guard but they’re insane. Plus Protean Hidden Ability and he just hits for insane damage for Super Effective STAB on a lot of mons

The game is a little broken if you have a steel and a fairy on your team. You can avoid most damage from the final boss switching the two

I beat classic for the first time today and one suggestion is not using a steel/fairy type but two different pokemon one steel and one fairy cause then eternatus will sludge bomb as u switch to the steel type and eternabeam when you switch to the fairy and hit him during the cooldown
I like that back and forth. I wonder if someone like magnezone can learn volt switch? Could be a missing piece.
I’ve also wanted to see if you could leech seed eternatus but I never seem to make it to him when I have a Pokémon with it.
@superiorgo2368 u can leech seed him I used torterra to and its good cause it avoids defense raises
The swap has been my most effective other wise hes gonna drain your pp as it spams cosmic power. Also leach seed, saltcure, and curse are really good to have if you dont end up sweeping with one guy
You must realize you just get to hit for free without switching with a steel/fairy though or just use a steel type with protect rather than swapping around. Leech seed, salt cure, curse also makes second phase brain dead easy
If you can get a hold of DNA splicers, I always have zigzagoon and Shedinja on my team. If you splice them, It can solo eternatus and is a perfect counter to mega ray on round 195. I normally run with a fairy, a dragon, zigzagoon and nincada. I'm on round 180 starting with fidough, nincada, zigzagoon and trapinch.
Hatching heatran with torch song egg move was the best thing to happen to me
Torch song is sooo good. I can only imagine with heatran.

I have hoothoot that ends up with boomburst, oblivion wing, moonblast, and calm mind/nasty plot. I also unlocked the passive Aerialate, so it's busted, and all for 0.25 points

You can beat classic with pretty much any mon if you have good egg moves, shiny with luck, pkrs, and know what you're doing. Endless however, it's a bit more complicated the farther you go.
I used dialga in my first endless run and now I use it all the time. Pair it with a tinkaton and you’re pretty much unstoppable
Tink got nerfed but Dialga still solid.
Yes! Dialga was the mon that held me the longest in endless, core enforcer egg move is just absurd

I've been using Quiver Dance (egg move) Iron Moth as my carry for a long time

I'm in the middle of doing full mono types challenges for Pokerogue.
I mean only catching that type and only using them. It hurts to not capture a shiny, but it is my rule.
I'm also proud to say that the best bug type to win this is the queen herself. Vespiquen just destroyed the last stages

Its great nasty plot sweeper and magician can get plenty of items and berries for itself and the rest of the team
I think the META for this game is just fast attackers. Weavile is especially broken because of dire claw and triple axew, and so is Alakazam. Those two can absolutely obliterate 90% of the game
I think you are mostly right. I do like my chunky boys though. Toxic, minimize muk or gmax Snorlax
I’ve done that with urshifu, Arceus until I got to phoebe with only normal type moves on him, and funnily enough mega Beedrill is also really good, especially with fell stinger
In endless I tend to use a shiny tapu koko, linoone, 3rd tier shiny landorus and 3rd tier shiny nymble, then I bring a random shiny that costs a single point, which is normally a koffing

I recommend grinding out Castform. With how you can guy eggs now, you could get all of his egg moves pretty quickly. All of it's egg moves are great, but boomburst could take out pretty much anything in one to two hits. If you have Abra as a starter, take bring that too. You'll eventually be able to fuse Castform with mega Alakazam and sweep everything with a single boomburst. His passive is adaptability, so even things that resist normal moves are going to get taken down immediately.
Hey i got three shiny in pokemon quest i got a shiny arcanine, a shiny nidoqueen, and a shiny venomoth.. (and thier evolution line.)

Noivern (noibat encounter)
Fuecoco might the strongest starter right now. I love torterra too, use it a lot

@@sydneykurniawan2262 I experiment a lot. Right now I'm running Zygarde with a shiny bibarel with whatever else fits. Zyg is a little expensive but it's damn powerful. I also usually to pick up a leech seeder like Torterra and a toxic user for sticky situations.

I grab fenikin, nincada(shiny3) and tandamouse, any items you give nincada will duplicate between shedninja and ninjask.

Ultra beasts go hard with beast boost. One mon can get through the first 140 levels basicaly
my best pokemon is, surprisingly, a Venipede that I got from a rare egg. the Venipede had Leech Life, which greatly helped my team
ELGYEM! I was surprised at how easily it can solo Eternatus. Even without it's passive or it's hidden ability, it can sit in front of Eternatus and set up calm minds. Once you're +6, you can erase Eternatus with stored power. Most things can't take out Beheeyem fast enough to win a 1v1.
Nagnadel is FUCKING BEAST at clearing entire floors. Go for modest nature, searing shot egg move. Make sure you change out a move for Piopile to have Dragon Pulse, because on stage 3 or 4 you can have Nagnadel already.
Ever since i got a shiny darkrai, every run is pretty easy

Ome of my favorite budget options is drilbur. Unless you have the shiny just catch it in the wild, it gets eq, rock slide swords dance and rapid spin without tms. Rapid spin and swords dance to set up and rockslide instead of iron head bc the ai loves switching their flying type into excadrill
since pokerus spreads to adjacent pokemon I like to put mine in slot 2 between my carries !
I like having nincada, zigzagoon and a good dragon or fairy type. Shedinja is Shedinja nothing else needed, which if you can splice with linoone it makes a monster that can solo round 200 and can also deal with other obstacles. Linoone because of pickup and covet. And a fairy or steel type to deal with dark and dragon types that linoone and Shedinja can't deal with.
It REALLY sucks the Nido's don't start with Sheer Force, because you'll get freaking Rivalry King/Queen most of the time
I really liked using shuckle with the egg moves body press and cosmic power and the pasive well-baked-body. Find an opportunity to setup +6 and destroy anything and everything. I could single-handedly beat classic mode eternatus with a 3 cost mon. Sadly it no longer gets cosmic power and well-baked-body, it now can't buff It's special defense so you can't tank eternatus quite as good
Bidoof can though. Hyperfang/super fang go a long way.
Beat classic for first time team was reshiram pinsir sandslash chi-yu ghouldengo and fused Chandelure and Galvatula. Started with resh and sandslash, wasnt expecting sandslash to be there to the end
Sounds like a well rounded team. I like using chi-yu a lot. Sandlash is a surprise but he was a favorite of mine as a kid.
Shiny Pokémon increase your luck for better stage rewards! Also combees ability will give you money after every stage
I know, I want a shiny combee more than anything right now. She’s actually useful after she evolves too

Skeledirge helped me beat classic. Caught a rapid spin/sword dance/EQ excadrill on the way. Swept
I always seem to drop my excadrill. Might need to put some time into it.

I sweep with magician opportunist hoops
I use kartana with one shot leaf blade and arial ace with sacret sword and night slash (beast boost is the best) and then a full team of shiny or not but ice types,and it worked till eternatus
I personally just use Manaphy. It's not insaneley hard to get and has some absolutely wild moves. Freeze Dry and Bouncy Bubble are already very strong moves with good coverage and Tailglow gives +3 special attack in a single move. On an unrelated note, did you know that Manaphy gets simple as a passive for only 20 candies?
I beat classic using this team.
Spidops, Oinklogne, Anhilape, Lokix, Tsugiri, and Miraidon.
All gen 9 but having a legendary helps a lot.

The pig had Trailblaze, Work Up, Earth Power and Double Edge. And I gave it a shell bell.

IT’s Fuecoco for typing and maybe Bulbasaur for leech seed because chip damage is OP in final fight.

Got him as a blue shiny and he’s so cheap I use him on every run. I don’t even accept new moves on him so it goes faster. I’m tired of him but can’t turn down the luck boost for 1 point

I think he’s pretty good. A lot of people have said using him with bouncing bubble is incredibly strong. He’s a little squishy though so you need to make sure he’s going first.

Yup, at the end of each fight you have random item drops. Shinies increase the rarity of the items. So a pokeball
Might turn into a greatball. Stuff like that.
They also stack so a team of six shinies would give you great luck and might give you access to much rarer items way earlier than you’d expect.
