Nice video! My machine displays the E50 after an hour of so of operation. If I restart the dryer its some time possible to use it for a whole operation without error. But often the pesky E50 displays and I must start over, again. Motor error or bad components on the board?
Hi I am working on a AEG T76280AC dryer. The dryer runs for about 8 minutes and then stops with a E50 error. If turned off and stated again it all runs and works but eventually cuts off. I thought due to the fact the motor does run it’s not that or the capacitor would it be the control module as this is a condenser dryer

Thank you. Great video. I have an old (> 10yr) AEG condencer with intermittent E50. It will work with a cople of kilos wet clothes, but refuses to run with more weight. It tries for a few cycles to start, and then ends in an E50 error. Bad capasitor?

@@tbergsk Yes.i changed the wrong capasitor first (2 uF), then I checked the second (6 uF) with a capable multimeter and it was 3 uF. The old 2 uF was 1.2 uF, so I guess it was about time to change both anyways. Now the dryer works as new .)
What type of capasator to get?
The first capacitor mentioned, is it a start/spin-capacitor? Do they typically break on dryers with compressor also? The least reliable item when the motor doesn't spin?
Yes the capacitor breaks as well. But I’ve found on these the motor controller board goes bad. If not that motor which is a pain. The motor usually the magnets break down

Most stupid in this dryer is that heat exchanger is build in and to clean it up whole machine has to be disassembled. I have so much fine dust deep inside there. Does anybody have same issue?
