"It seems being alive really puts you on edge." Facts.
This line knocked me out fasho
Well he’s just put into words how I feel since my GAD diagnosis in a very succinct way
FACTS!
@@victorialovatt976 Definitely, same.
That killed me 🪦
RIP KENNY DEFOREST! You were amazing brother
Rip to him. Such a great talent who's life was cut short.
FINALLY, some great mental health comedy!
This guy is really good, what great analogies! I too have this terrible detective in my head.
That was my favorite part 😆
Bruh i got an entire incompetent police precinct up there
@@JujFuj so, like, a regular police precinct? Lol
-Everybody who experienced 9/11 as a child.
This dude is hilarious an as a ex hooper I now put my energy into real estate and scream savage every time I close a deal
My man. LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOO
@@KennyDeForest did you type this at 3 in the morning?
"TELL EM IM THE BEST OR ILL PUT MORE DEAD RATS IN YOUR WALL" 🤣🤣🤣
He was pretty damn good had me busting out laughing
This guy is good. Very relatable…very open and honest…and funny as hell
There was too much truth in this stand up! As a recovered addict but an NA drop out, I recognize all this too well! Made me laugh till I had tears in my eyes. I wish this talented comedian the absolute best and look forward to more!
As a recovered alcoholic (ten years), you don't actually recover until after you "drop out" of AA or NA. I went for 2 years, then I decided I didn't want to be an alcoholic, so I made a list of all the things alcoholics do and just resolved to not do any of those things any more, which includes going to AA and talking about "my sobriety".
I started to notice his hands shaking... wow.
~ Yo, "My minds telling me nooo..." was over the top. I am rolling. 🙃
"I don't do cocaine anymore... unless you have some..."
💯😆
You telling me I can believe in myself for $50? Lmao
Very relatable lol
Kenny came up in Chicago. Love seeing new material from him, especially his darker stuff.
The therapy vs dirty garage analogy 🤣🤣🤣 I like that
Lol "couldn't catch me out in the wild, had to set a trap" ..funny
who are you setting the trap for? Ex bf?
@@MaNuLaToROfficial huh? it's a quote from the video you just watched.....
RIP Kenny! You were too young to leave us, but thank you for putting smiles on all of our faces.
If he keeps this up he's going to be one of the greats I'm convinved...
Well done
160 days sober. The last couple weeks have been a huge test.. Seems like one thing after another. But I’m pushing through and trying my best. I was trying to find something to distract me and make me laugh. I was trying to watch some stand up and was coming across the same usual boring stuff. This was really good. He has a different way of doing stand up and I can’t really explain it other than it’s just different and good. I hope he succeeds and can get some specials. Glad I came across this I needed that
About 10 years ago Kenny Deforest was missing from his dad's basketball team the night we played them.
We took basketball in Springfield mo very serious back then because a lot of people would travel to play at the Missouri state out door courts. And we have 7 or so colleges withing 20 miles of each other.
I asked his dad where he was and he told me he moved to new York to do comedy.
I was shocked! He didn't seem like he had that type of personality.
Even when I clicked the video I wasn't expecting much. I couldn't have been more wrong. Dudes super funny.
Btw basketball His dad has to be at least 70 and still plays. We love us some basketball.
“But my body…my body!!!” Lol
This dude speaks directly for me.
Hope to see more of this guy!Boundaries were pushed all around and analogies were on point, good stuff
Sadly he died yesterday after getting hit by a car.
"message each person at 3 am so they know you are serious and apologize for something that happened 15 years ago."
I felt that....ive been thinking of going to talk to somebody for my anxiety for quite some time now, but once again. I was raised in the 90s and early 00's where reading a book was gay.
its gonna take some time
Take your time 💕🙏
The struggle is real ;) :)
Dude sometimes that apology works out. Think about Billy Madison and the list.
@@cmb6087 My name is Earl
i miss that show so bad
First time watching him; he’s sincerely relatable & incorporates perfect comedic relief- finding that good balance. Loved it
9:10 is legit one of the funniest things ive seen in years, not only his joke, but the instant reaction of the girl, only for it to be subverted. Alao the lone guy who started cheering make that dude seem so desperate for any action. Honestly, the whole thing is just * chefs kiss *
That bit about your excess athletic energy is spot on
I just discovered your funny content recently. Rip sir, thanks for helping me laugh again, A short laugh, but a much appreciated one. My condolences to his family, friends, and fellow fans such as myself.
He caught a good audience. Got some standouts too, noticanle enough to catch his attention. Good on NY. 👍
First time I’ve ever seen or heard of this comic. Pretty funny stuff! 👍
Literally no one knows that they can move from NY, lol!
It is physically impossible to do so.
But to be fair, a lpt of people who move to NYC seem to be unaware that there are people who were born and raised here. They have zero problem moving away
@@farapipsqueek636 Lol, FACTS!
“ You mean I can BELIEVE IN MYSELF … for FIFTY DOLLARS!!!!” Yep, that was it for me.lol!
"The only way to win at a party is to lose at a party" pressed pause and thought about this way too long. This guy is great!
"you are going to have a BUNCH of free time, and a VERY intense spirit,"🤣😂🤣
I grew up in The Bronx, lived in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and even Queens for a month in my 34+ years in NYC. As a fairly recent resident of Jax, FL, can blissfully confirm @0:36 🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅
Just don’t try to turn Florida into NY please.
@@TKO593 impossible. I wouldn't even try lol.
This dude is hilarious! Gotta look out for him in the future.
The accuracy of therapy 😂😂
Apart from being really funny, this was somehow, under the surface, actually beautiful. Talented comedian!
Hey I thought you were me
Hilarious, and the best descriptions of therapy/GAD I've ever heard. I'll definitely be sharing this with MY therapist.
I don't do cocaine any more, unless you have some!!!! 💯😂😂✌️
I almost spit out my tea at that R. Kelly joke! 😂😂😂😂😂
that wisconsin joke was point blank on the money lmfao trust me I know
This is genuinely one of the funniest new stand up acts I have seen in a long time.
It’s rare to happen upon a good comedian you haven’t heard of before.
This is like the best description of therapy I've ever heard. And yes, I have not heard that many.
"You're telling me I can believe in myself for $50??" 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Perfect description of counseling!
bad detective anxiety disorder bit at 10:10 is perfect, made me lol i literally feel the same way and it's good to hear someone as funny as you describe it so accurately lmao thanks kenny
Right on! NY is a dysfunctional relationship.
First time I have laughed that hard since I first met Joey Diaz, or Bill Burr thank you my friend
this guy was great and i can’t wait to check out more of his stuff
That’s the best way I’ve heard therapy described
Hilarious analogy for therapy at the end!
gonna be honest the “bad detective” bit made me laugh until I started genuinely tearing up, hit a little close to home but that’s just a consequence of phenomenal material
This guy is a riot!!!!
This is a really good set
the r.kelly reference was hilarious
Appalachian Henry Zebrowski is pretty solid.
The garage really hit garage
Really good set. Want to see more of him!
This guy is a new favorite of mine. Solid!
Hilarious! Fantastic set, keep on bringin' it dude.
I love this dude!! Looking forward to more from him.
The bad cop in my head is a 1920’s gumshoe sheee. Always tryin’ to sell me wooden nickels as if that will add hay to the old hay burner.
I dont smoke weed sorry
Sike! Im smoking right now LOL
That bar/school joke was hilarioussss
"I don't want to know the number of times you can pee on a woma..." youtube commercial. Perfectly timed.
Very funny and surprisingly accurate! I'm looking forward to seeing more Kenny.
Man, just a we could go he was fine and then on the 13th he was gone.
Cherish those you have because they can be gone anytime people.
God rest his soul. ❤
you mean a 35 year old man who looks like a 45 year old man who just stormed the capitol
Great set, one of the best I've seen last 5 years
More of this guy!
oh this is amazing. kenny is dope as hell.
Ok so his stories about therapy ring very true for me. LOL So funny!
Very solid set. We need more of this guy.
This was fantastic
More from this guy please!
Reading books 🤣🤣🤣
Man I can’t 😂😂 hilarious
The "bad detective in my head" joke was both hilarious and far too real.
This was good man. I enjoyed it. Relatable as well.
His therapy analogy 😍😂🐼
Hilarious 😂 love this guy
What great analogies bro!! Starting since nyc to end with psychological problems putting special focus in the importance of a correct mind control
This is so hilarious and I relate to about everything he said.
This guy is one to watch, fantastic aet! 👏👏👏😄
He just called me out lmao. I just got a bike last month 😂
What kind of bike? I bought one from Wal Mart a few months ago. Don't ever buy a bike from Wal Mart. Total shite bikes
This dude is hella funny 😆
100% on point with everything 👍👍👍👍👏👏
I was so glad to move out of NYC!
This dude is MY spirit animal. 👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️
This is perfect.
Very funny guy. A New Yorker too boot. I need to see more of Mr DeForest!
Literally, ‘couldn’t have said it better myself’ 😂
he killed it
Delightful really enjoyed his sense of humour 😄
That was amazingly on point. Excellent!
Man i needed this laugh lol
This man is brilliant!
I started out digging him...Now I’m ready for a CZcams marathon
Where do you start? How long is the run? Is it televised ?
PRICELESS🤣🤣
