- Kenny Chesney revealed that he has lost one of his most beloved companions who were very near and dear to his heart. Kenny Chesney released a very beautiful and heartfelt statement surrounding his loss. We are sending our love to Kenny Chesney during this time.

So many people don’t know the pain of losing a pet. They give unconditional love!
Worst part of having a dog is letting go! Sure miss mine that have passed!
@@maryhensley2597 That’s the hardest part for me. Like I said in a comment I made….I was 9 when I got my first baby girl….a rare blonde yorkie and then we had a chocolate lab given to us. We had them for 14 1/2 years and the yorkie I had to send to heaven because she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of a rare canine cancer….and then….a month and a half later….we had to send the chocolate lab to heaven because he literally grieved himself and he ended up having a seizure….and it was one he’d never recover from so we had to send him to heaven.
Then….6 months after that….my aunt had bought me a yorkie for Christmas that year and my birthday the next year and I ALWAYS, ALWAYS said that if I’d ever get another dog….I’d want her to go on her own because it bout killed me to have to send my other 2 dogs to heaven. And she had been at the vet exactly 3 months before and she told us that she’s in perfect health, she’s at a perfect weight and she couldn’t be happier with how she looked/was. Fast forward to June 10th of last year….yes….she was puppy pad trained and yes….we kept them clean constantly….and every time after she’d go pee….she’d tiptoe off the pads so she wouldn’t step in the pee….well….she went pee and everything and when I seen her go on it….I thought….where is she??? I got up to go look….and she peed on one side then went and laid on the other side that was clean. I KNEW there was something wrong….because she couldn’t wait to get off it and I went and got my mom because I bend over….and she came and got her and took her to my stepdad. When she picked her up she just had this look on her like she had this blank stare. And he held her almost all day….and that night….at 9:30….I had this feeling that I needed to go get her and just hold her and cuddle her. Not even 5 minutes in my arms….she looked up at me….licked my cheek and that was the first time that day that she’d actually have a look on her face….and she took her last breath. I just broke down. I lost my baby girl….my angel….my best friend

As a parent of an awesome "24/7 best friend" myself, this breaks my heart. My boy was recently diagnosed with bone cancer and three days ago had a tumor and part of his cheek bone removed. There is no describing the pain. It is early in our journey and we're hoping for the best, but my heart goes out to Kenny and every other parent/guardian who has ever traveled this painful road. It is so difficult, but there is a special place in heaven for those who rescue animals and provide for their future. Bless them all, and the best friends for whom they care.
💔💔 I lost my beautiful Husky, Sam, from cancer this last spring. I know how difficult it is. Dogs love so unconditionally and are so forgiving, if they don't make it to heaven, NONE of us are. God bless Kenny.

My American Bulldog Tebow is on his way out. Had him almost 12 years and he still tries to be a guard dog but I know his time is near. I got him shortly after leaving the military, he has been my crutch as I’ve tried converting into the civilian world and I know it’s gonna hurt when he’s gone. Dogs are truly man’s best friend.

😢 Look at that smile! Awwe. So, very sorry Kenny. We lost our sweet angel on earth - 13 year old (also TN rescued) sweet golden retriever - just over 4 weeks ago. It’s the worst pain. I think that’s because they do give endlessly, that unconditional love humans do fail at by nature.

I feel his Pain. I lost my 13 year old Boxer to Cancer 2 years ago , and my 10 Yaar old Pit mix in August of this year. We recently adopted a Stanford Terrier Lab Mix that had been in a shelter for five years. She has fit right into our family. And is thriving in her new home.

I know what he is going through I lost my Chesney boy. He was my life for 17 years I miss him so much. It is so heart breaking in losing a pet.... I feel so much a Part of my life was taken from me. I lost my wife to cancer and my doole boy was with me thought all of that then I lost him to cancer he was always there for me and a good boy I miss them both alot but their together living free of cancer and laying in the sun thanks kenny for sharing keep singing for them.
