about a week before i was strugglin with the plucking... so i mastered another of his tutorials (fight song) and the plucking for IMAGINE is easy for me now... im suggestin this to all those strugglers out there

Hey, little tip for beginning players here, if you wanna combine the plucking and strumming, you could strum down, then strum /pluck only the c string. It sounds a bit fancier than just strumming , and its really easy! This was one of the first songs I learned.

I love this song!! Thanks for the video :) Also just a tip to play the riff at the end of each line, instead of 4 strokes on F, you can pick 0 1 2 on the A string on the 4th beat.

For those, like me, who were a tiny bit disturbed by the 4th playing of the F chord during the verses, i found how to make it sound as the original. Instead of continuing the same picking, you just pick the second string, then the third and then the first. It'll give the right "tidada" that i was looking for ^^
(Ah! and go back to the usual picking just before the bridge)

This is my favorite tutorial for this song! Thank you so much! I love the simplicity and clarity of the screen, with the chords below and pics of chords to the left. It is so user friendly for this beginner. I have a question though: when I do the picking method, i can't hear the difference between C and C7 so I adjusted to pick the A and E while playing C7, then back to G-E-C. Is this your experience? Did I miss that in the video? Thanks.
