Its nice having a real music teacher to learn from. Love all the other Uke channels, but Bernie's provides so many important nuances and basic foundation pointers that the other channels don't take the time to address (or just dont have the musical knowledge and teaching skills that Miss B has).

My first time watching your lessons. But the way you said to "Don't cheat this one on me" really made me work hard for the intermediate way to play that part(C to E to E7 then F). I think I'm starting to sound better at that so thanks! The lesson was pretty fun too! :)

Dear Bernie, thank you for the great tutorial!!! I am currently doing your 30 day uke challenge and I'm on day 15 where you teach us the song Imagine and I have a few questions about it.
1.The beginning part, as described in the challenge, (C C Cmaj7 Cmaj7 F F F F) didn't sound right and then I saw that you had a tutorial for this song which suggests (Four Cs and then 4 Fs) and then I saw that you had another more recent tutorial, the one I'm commenting on, where you propose 3 Cs one Cmaj7 and then 4 Fs which sounds right to me. Is this the one closest to Lennon's?
2. Another difference is in the chorus part, is a Cmaj7 included? F F G G C C E E7 or F F G G C Cmaj7 E E7?
3. And lastly is there a C chord in the bridge part?
Is it F F Am Am Dm Dm F F G G G C G7 or F F Am Am Dm Dm F F G G G G G7?

I love this song .But the corded you show us in this clip do not seem to match what you show in the 30 day challenge ?Am I missing something?
I cannot find the play along?
I can do this as play along, but need the tabs to do on my own. Is it possible to get the tabs? I wrote down the words and tried to match the cords as you played, but it it too much and I lost my enthusiasm. I also am somewhat confused about the riff. I thought I saw the pattern but can't find it again. It looks like you are doing A open, then first fret A string then second fret A string, but there is a 4th note in the riff???

I highly recommend you try the 30 Day Uke Challenge here on CZcams. It will help you create the foundation for learning songs like this and give you the tools you need ❤️
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic thank you for responding. I have been doing the challenge and made it to video 15. I saw this video and it i thought maybe I’d pick up something new. I spent a week on video 15, at least an hour a day. Your lessons are better than most of the others I’ve seen. I’m going back to 15 tomorrow and try again.😊
