    It goes to show that VW don't want their latest hot hatches tampered with and these guys have worked really hard to try and give us more in the meantime. I'm not sure the results are significant enough to warrant a purchase but it's certainly appreciated.

    You can only be consistent with timing if you use launch control, I wonder why you try without it.
    Suggestion, place one of those 10 cameras at the speedometer and show the full run, will help your videos massively.
    Thank you for your time and I wish you guys great videos to come.

    Your results with the Racechip are WAY different than what AutoTopNL got ! For the 100-200, they got 16.23s stock (very similar to your 15.9s) but with the Racechip on map 7 they got 12.8, a 3.43s gain, that's a MASSIVE difference compared to the 0.5s you gained on map 3...

    it shaved off only 0.5s from 100 to 200?? GTI Clubsport with similar power as this tuned basic GTI makes it in 11.7s. I think this tuning box is not worth the money and we should wait for APR tune

    • @awesomecars1
      @awesomecars1  Před 2 lety +1

      Shaving off half a second on the 100-200 is still a good change with a tuning box. As we mentioned since there are no tunes for this car yet it's the best option we have.

    • @VtecAbuser
      @VtecAbuser Před 2 lety

      I agree with Obi. 0.5 secs and only 1mph increase in trap speed on the 1/4 mile is pretty pants, sorry guys. Those sorts of gains probably equate to about 10bhp in the real world on this sort of platform/power.
      The et gains on the 0-60 and 1/4 mile just suggest a better launch/start on that run. The 100-200 and trap speed show little power gains during this test.
      I’d certainly wait for the flash tune if it were me.

      @@awesomecars1 That may be so, but I bet it wasn't gained safely. By messing with the ECU inputs you are effectively removing safety parameters.
