For a game like this, no skill based matchmaking is a benefit.
For Rainbow Six Siege, skill based matchmaking needs to exist with MMR soft resets from time to time.
You are still missing the point. COD doesnt have sbmm. It has eomm. Sbmm and Eomm are different.

I completely agree with you. These kids definitely got far more ego, and I think it partly has to do with streamer culture plus TikTok. When we gamed back in the 2010's it was mostly for fun. Up until 2015 - 2017, not many people really cared about streaming or displaying high rank. 2018 to 2019 saw a rise in competitiveness in shooters overall to a degree. Post 2020 it got more highlighted within our society and seems to be getting worse with 'gamer bros'. Honestly I don't play certain games as much anymore because of it. Kids will be showing their strats as 'the best', displaying their logic behind gameplay mechanics, will teamkill over stupid reasons and talk about their tactics as a gold standard. It's the toxic, overly competitive mentality of being the best and most talented player and overall parading around the fact that they're everything when they're not. I've seen it seep into my favorite games all around. Skill-based matchmaking is mostly to blame, which is diminishing the fun and total enjoyment out of shooters these days.
The people who take games the most serious (who are not professionals or streamers) are truthfully the ones with not much going on in their own lives, hence the "lowkey boring" mentality.

Ngl I would really like this game if they had a better practice area cuz imma be honest, I SUCK at XDefiant and I just don’t find it fun because I can never get more than 2 kills in a game. But I also don’t want to spend 69 for a game with SBMM.

Call of duty enhancer, the in game sync is terrible, that’s enough to really puss me off while playing it. That as well as inconsistent damage is also annoying af. Still enjoying it more than cod tho.

Besides talking throughout the entire vid about not needing stuff then talking about nerfing a literal metal shield, also don’t think I heard him mention the terrible sync once the entire vid.
I'm not even a cod fan boy, the ttk's, health system, weapon unlocks, xp, and just overall feel for the game is trash. None of it is fair as a level 3 just getting bullied by guys who are level 30 with M16's that feel like they 1 shot me by the time I've put my iron sight onto him. Let alone the sound design, I can hear the music more than anything else, footsteps don't exist, and the gunshots are poorly directionalized.

Youre just bad. The m16 is thr slowest killing AR. The acr and the ak are the fastest. I unlocked them in 40 minutes. The default gun also kills faster than the m16. Your just cant aim
Are you using the welcome playlist? It literally has skill-based matchmaking and is available under level 25 for the exact purpose of not having this experience. Also, there's literally options to manage each individual sound. Just turn off the music, turn down voices, and then maybe you'll hear the footsteps! Bc they are there.
he's literally cooking people in the video with ironsights💀It's beyond easy to get new weapons just go on the challenges tab, find a gun you want, and do the challenge, it takes around 15 minutes. If you're even too lazy to do that just use default stuff, it's still overpowered.
