I think I have like 300hrs in The Finals. I quit when they nerfed the stun instead of adding a counter to it. I’m playing again for the first time in a month. Thought I would never return but I think I can get over it now. I’ve spent like over a hundred dollars on this game easily. I’d be lying if I said I don’t love this game; but I don’t respect devs removing entire play styles.
@@axolet Understood, I work 10 hrs a day, but you don't have to play both daily or one for 10 hrs when you can. It depends on your objective. If your goal is fun mixed with winning, you can play both, if your objective is to get so good at a game and grow, that the focus should be 1 game not both. Being that most working adults are casuals, it shouldn't matter if you play both or not. I'm the type of person who likes to dominate, so rarely can I focus on both, therefor the way I do things is, I focus on 1 game and when I need a break from that 1 game, I will use the other game as my break game. Playing 50-100 matches of a singular game can burn you out of that particular game for the rest of the day or so. But you may still have the itch to play something, so I'd pick up something else.
@@lampytoot1868 It would have been perfect if other former cod devs who sold their souls to EA could have released Titanfall 3 at the same time while using the popularity of Apex Legends to not repeat the Titanfall 2 disaster. It would have been an ex cod vs bf vs cod devs battle ^^ but we'll never get that one anyway (damn every good dev have quit activision blizzard, deserved). Some devs have sold their souls to ubisoft (still disapointed about hyper scape) and others to EA. I hope that the devs of The Finals will remain loyal to themselves for the future of the game (well everything is not perfect, don't forget that there's also a demon lying in the background named Nexon). In the end both game are really great (but dam it's ubisoft behind one of them, that's stinks).
Another thing on the Finals battlepass, you get 20-30% more premium currency than what is needed for the next season pass, so you can buy one battlepass with real money, then if you complete it, you get the full amount of currency back to afford the next one and some extra for cosmetics. Also, cosmetic items in a bundle are able to be purchased individually if that is something you care about.
The Finals season 3 has amazing content compared to 2. Watching the battlepass xp fly through 6 levels after a match is exactly as it should be. I'm a casual gamer anymore and I don't have time to grind every day so it's nice to finish with plenty of time before the season is over.
I’m an XD hater but I’ve enjoyed it here and there, I think I’ll probably like it more and more especially after 6 months to a year from now. If they did the issues with the hit detection and stuff like that. I’m a huge The Finals lover and I hope more people will try it out, matches like cash out require good strategy but stuff like powershift are just dumb fun.
XDefiant isn’t on Steam, it’s only on UPlay, The Finals is. To be honest, I don’t see the problem with it being only on UPlay, nothing bad comes out of making an account for them. It’s not like Sony.

Tried Xdefiant, at first it was fun but after some time i noticed the time to kill is soo quick i hate it, if he starts shooting first there is noting you can do, even if u get cover he still has an advantage, just my personal opinion
xdef is a good between games. I playing a lot. But the thing it has nothing new in the game, nothing that makes we stick to the game. BF is classic vehicle/infantry in large scale COD is classic arcade mil shooter The Finals is really something new, heist pvp game with crazy mechanics i really hope the game survives Xdef takes something from a shooter here, something from other shooter and mix everything with success but nothing new

I played The Finals for the first time around the time XDefiant dropped. Then I played XDefiant, let me tell you I haven't touched XDefiant since launch, The Finals is just so much better in just about every conceivable way. I tried, I played it twice but the only thing I could think was I would really rather be playing The Finals. The guns feel better, the maps feel better, the movement feels better. In XDefiant everything felt boring and flat and everyone just ran the same couple loadouts as everyone else. I just can't imagine putting time into XDefiant while The Finals exists.
The way some of you guys say it popular but it really not last time I checked now said that finals is the cod killer !!! XDefiant has one more game mode thats it. The modes in the finals are better. Xdefiant has 5 modes and The finals has 4. The finals is beating every game is skins, battle pass etc.
If you like easy arcade shooter with zero recoil and easy 3 lanes maps play Xdefiant, if you like skilled arena shooter with much chaos and teamwork play the finals. I play really many fps games famous ones and unknowns and the finals is really something else it’s fresh and the learning curve is the key to getting better.
You should have used the footage of the syshorizon map in day mode. Actually any map in day mode so people could understand how amazing the maps are in this game!
I got to try the finals but i had a blast in xdefiant this is coming from somone who loved cod since mw2 classic, halo 3, gears 3, splintercell blacklist and uncharted 3 multiplayers

They keep the graphics lower end to keep the install size small. Especially if the game is going to last for years and with how many maps they're planning on adding, it'll be a while before the game gets to 100GB
Because you don’t have to pay $70 a year to play XDefiant. Call of duty asks for a premium price, and yet they act like they’re a free to play game with the amount of micro transactions they try to push in your face. That, is why you play XDefiant instead of Cod 👍 (And F SBMM)
The Finals is original and unique. In technical terms, it is better in everything. And for me it's also much more fun, which is what really matters. I play both, but I invest much more in The Finals.
I found myself playing The Finals first to get the daily contracts, making sure every Thursday I also do all weekly contracts and then I'm free to jump into XDefiant for a more TDM style 👍🏻
I play both but I enjoy the finals more. It's more unique, more fluid and dynamic. Every game feels different, there are so many free unlockable cosmetics that you never need to spend any money but it also has one of the best monetization models I've seen in any f2p shooter. You can buy single items out of any bundle, they constantly give away free skins for challanges and I just got an email from embark with a free skin and free coins. They clearly love the game and they're treating the playerbase with respect and not trying to aggressively grab our wallets. If they had the halo bp system where they never expire it would be the best monetized game in f2p history.
I played The Finals back in S1 and it was too fast, too confusing, if I took even 3 days off then I would be back to 0 instantly but with XDefiant I have got a good understanding of the game and it feels better for me personally, it's fresh for me cuz I haven't played COD or BATTLEFIELD
These two aren't comparable anyway. Both very different. Finals is for sure try hard objective modes, while Xdefiant is casual fun. When I play Finals I roll eyes sometimes knowing I am gonna have to try carry a bad team and sometimes trying to do that is fun but sometimes it's awful. Also Finals has that BR feel bad of been able to get sniped from across the map without seeing them. While Xdefiant I just go in not worrying about anything get some kills and call it a day and snipers are great in Xdefinat but at least I see them and they aren't hidden on some scaled building just camping.
I tried to give "The Finals" a chance, I thought the uniqueness was cool for about a week and then got bored... I don't like sbmm and all the lobbies were so fucking ass, every match I was in it was just toxic ass players. To be fair that was when the game just dropped and chinese hackers were ruining the servers, but that experience was so god awful I quit. XDefiant, yeah there is still sweats and I'm still basically carrying everyone every match but I'm not going up against clones of myself. XDefiant has a lot to grind for and I can customize my guns, The Finals you cant, at least the last time I played it. I know no one is going to agree with me here because everyone in the comments are "The Finals" glazers, which is fine were all allowed to have different opinions.
Try shotgun farmers it's fun for 10$but everything is free the store and battle pass you grind coins to get what you want the finals but don't often play fps but I'd say the finals have not played the other one

i think the finals has the edge. Ran into a lot more obvious cheaters in xdefiant already where i havent noticed it as much in the finals.
