I am glad that you had your surgery, Despina you are back alive and well, still doing your thing. Do not force your voice, it was great to see you, stunningly turned out and looking so well after the trauma of your operation. Do not do as I and some others have been known to do, rush back into hectic, heavy work. Relax, enjoy some kicking back and watching the world and your animals eat, sleep, and relax under your gaze. The project looks great, though it was a little overpowered by your news,
Best wishes from the U.S. for a speedy recovery. Do not know if you can have ice cream but tell everyone the doctor days you need it for your voice. Take each day as a healing day and get better fast.
Just a thought lemon and honey in tea is good for a cold . How about this in a popcycle to sooth your throat? Better yet Licorice tea or Echinacea tea both with honey. Maybe lemon may irritate your throat right now.

You are so amazing. First in your recovery and your attitude to it. The one piece of advice I would give you is to listen to your body during the recovery phase. It might sound a bit obvious but when your body is telling you it is tired, go and rest etc. I know it is difficult but while your voice box is still affected, try and avoid airborne dust particles and if you can, drink plenty, particularly non dairy, honey based fluids. I also am sure that your mum has also great ideas for natural remedies. I remember her advice she gave you in the past. The desk is fantastic and I would have one like it any day. So glad you have your mum and brother with you. It will do you both the world of good, both on a physical and an emotional support.

Very happy to see your surgery went well❤ Don’t make a lot of physical effort for a couple of weeks so it can heal properly but you sound okay already. Just don’t worry about your voice on camera and don’t force yourself to talk for our sake, take time to recover.

Despina, I'm just thrilled to hear your voice again. YES, you should do your best to let your voice rest and recover, but since I think there was some concern about losing the use of your vocal cords, I thank God that this didn't happen. Time and rest, and God's healing hand upon you, will do the job.
As for the desk, it looks great -- and I expect that, after your mom's visit, the desk will receive another coat or two of stain/varnish, including the upright support wood, which it appears has no stain/varnish applied to it yet. Our Creator has blessed you two with a quadruple portion of creativity! Could this concept be a very productive sideline for you because I imagine you have lots of suitable pieces of wooden branches laying around the property.
