Loved the desing and the video. I'm retiring my long time small shop table/cabinet and want to build yours from your plans. Any suggestion on how to make the last layer of the top replaceable? I tend to beat mine up and would like to swap it out evry couple of years.
Actually, I didn’t mention it in this video, but the top layer of my table is replaceable. In the original videos I go into more detail, but if you watch them, you will see that I don’t glue that top layer down. I simply use longer screws from underneath to hold it together. If I should ever need to replace it, I will remove the screws and I will have to cut the oak trim around the borders.
Ya made my dang mouth drool and I’m no stranger to a bench build. This is fantastic man!
