- Eric has a trick to put me on my bike. In his trick I'm very happy to pedal 13 km and 1200 m of elevation without stopping! Today we went to the most stunning place to go ride in Whistler! Do you want to know how he got me into mountain biking?

I learned that harsh climbs usually lead to great places, sometimes the climbs themselves are the best part, so I enjoy them.

My (now ex) bf got me into mountain biking by letting me borrow his bike to exercise my dog on some local trails. I quickly became obsessed and spent several days watching all the videos on BCPOV and your channel ❤️ now I'm saving up for my own bike so I can head back out there!

congrats on that climb Yuka!!! hope to see you at Whistler sometime, I’m still working on gaining enough confidence to ride Crank It Up by the end of this Season but haven’t rode it yet, I did make it through my first blue trail (Longhorn) last time I went so I’m hoping this time I’ll have enough confidence to ride B Line this time I go there :)
Riding in a bike park is definitely different from trail ride. My first time riding in the park didn't go so well. I thought riding in a bike park is much difficult and my friends told me that what we were riding is the easiest. I also couldn't stand up on the pedals for long time neither. But once you get use to the speed you will find more fun of riding in the bike park! Good job on Longhorn👍
Van Girl Yuka I had a coach last time I went and I was able to make it to that rock slab on Golden Triangle before needing to bring the seat up, I’m hoping next time I go at the end of the month I can do a full lap without needing to raise the seat up, and also to ride down B Line.

Hi Yuka, How did you break your neck? I broke mine by falling on my head off of a wooden bridge while mountain biking. I broke off the spinous process on C-7. Not a fun experience at all. I couldn't ride for 6 months or so, and then only on pavement for a while. I like watching your videos. Keep it up.
I brake exactly the same bone as yours! My shock was broken so when I jumped my bank tire kicked up and I went over the bars. I hit my head and broke the bone 😢 in my case I got back into biking slowly after 3 month. But for 3 months I couldn't work nor ride so that was very sad time. Without injury is the best way to improve riding skills 👍 thank you!
