Try this method to find your next favourite MTB trail!
Finding a good mountain bike trail is not an easy task. Many bike parks tried to build jump lines. Only when I ride them will I know how good they are. I might have found a great solution to find your next favorite trail!

Trying to steal a MTB pro tip. (Is it even possible?)

Skills with Phil is probably the best rider I have ever ridden with. So when I get the chance to ride a pro rider at Killington MBT Park, I should try to get one or two of his tips. First time riding in Berm Park! It was terrible...but we met up with Alex from The Single Track Sampler and tackled the hardest trail in Berm Park. He was so nice that he accepted my scary challenges. Under Alex's guide, we tried to conquer Hemlock in Kanuga Bike Park and Champion in Berm Park! ❤️️Support me on Patreon❤️️ →yukapatreon.com ❤️️Support Eric on Patreon❤️️ →bcpatreon.com 🚲Commencal ...
Sending his wooden features is a high risk!

Seth from Backyard Trail Builds creates the most artistic wooden MTB features! And there are 7 big structures in the Howler Bike Park. Most of them have giant gaps, and failing to clear them easily leads me to death. Challenging his features is a high risk, but I love his art and can't help trying. How many of them can I hit? My Colorado rides went terribly wrong.

I pedal uphill to enjoy the downhill. But this time, I might've gone too high in the Colorado mountains. The view was nice, and I could suffer a lot on climbing-until I couldn't. Altitude sickness got me at some point, and the ride wasn't enjoyable anymore. That's when I hit rock bottom. ❤️️Support me on Patreon❤️️ →yukapatreon.com ❤️️Support Eric on Patreon❤️️ →bcpatreon.com 🚲Commencal Bike Pa...
I wanted to test my new bike. Turned out I was the one tested.

Riding a new bike for the 1st time is always exciting! But I wasn't sure if I liked my new bike. It was heavy, long, and cheap! in order to test my new bike through serious tests at the Whistler bike park, I had to go back to the place where I almost crashed and died: In and Out Burger in Squamish! I don’t know how to build a bike. I did it anyway.

It's a new bike day! And this time, I tried to build it on my own. The problem is that the main tool is a hammer, and I don't have any mechanical sympathy. Can I complete building my new bike? and is it safe to ride it after...? ❤️️Support me on Patreon❤️️ →yukapatreon.com ❤️️Support Eric on Patreon❤️️ →bcpatreon.com 🚲Commencal Bike Parts🚲 kit.co/vangirlyuka/commencal-meta-sx-2023 😎Eric's chann...

I love wooden features, and when I find a beautiful one, I can't help but ride it. However, this time it was in Stellenbosch, South Africa. And if we come to Africa, we must see real African animals. When we try to race, it's going to be a disaster with so many crashes. Why do we race? A local MTB race, Tas Gravity Enduro, Stage 1 was held in Hobart, Tasmania. Eric and I joined our friend Dune, who was on vacation from Canada. We ate so much dirt, but we tried to stay on our bikes as much as possible! If there is a friend who suffers the same way, going on a race might be the same as going ...

I am your age and just starting to get into mountain biking after being a commuter cyclist for some time. So you have taught me and others a good lesson and you can be proud of that. I'm not 21, I can't be ragged about too much lol.
You are so brave!! I haven’t found Japanese women who ride mountain bike like you do. I’m also Japanese! I can’t go that fast you do and scared of rocks still… I lived in BC Canada for a while and now in WA, USA. It seems like we are following you where you guys went! Where you guys go next?
Your wrist prob broke because the pressure on that my dad snapped his arm after getting tackled in America football and I broke my wrist is 2 places and dislocated my shoulder over estimating myself in a one armed push up
Is this the cousin of ganbatte?
You tough as nails, hope you're good now a year later!
ds
ho no! i do artistic inline skating and i remember vividly the first day i put on my skates a few years ago and took a gnarly fall and broke my coccyx it hurt for 2 months 😖
You need to bend your legs
It looks like you were scared to commit and the leash works better on the front wheel
Xddddddd😂😂😂😂😂
We do this too! Here in Aus we always seek out Dirt Art trails.
0:20 Fun fact about the "Pinkbike" drop, it's not actually called Pinkbike. When the first drop was built there, it's original name was called Old Growth. The drop was smaller and ended up being too close to the landing so they rebuilt it. The new drop was pushed back and higher so they named it New Growth. People only think the drop is called "pinkbike" because that's where we sold Pinkbike's ad real-estate. The sign on the drop doesn't give the drops name. If the was the case, Thombstone would be called the Highland drop.
You should ride Burke mountain right near kingdom trails you will find tech trails and jump trails
In Vermont
Gnarly! Great composure and glad you recovered.
This is why I wear my neck brace on all my rides that involve downhill action, call me paranoid but it's always nice to have it there just in case.
Looks like maybe that drop at the beginning of the trail at Bryce helps you generate the speed you need to clear the following jumps, plus some sprinting...? Never been there myself. 🙂
Woah, if you all came all the way to Virginia I hope you got to check out some of the trail riding, like the Frederick Watershed.
Life pre-dropper post 😅
Yuka you are better than bcPOV
Eric and I watched this tonight and yuka?! You hit everything !! So inspiring! You do not have fear!!!
I hope you are ok😮
I've been to Bryce a number of times. Ridden Brew Threw a lot but haven't hit Hooch yet. From what I understand, the jumps are really hard to get speed for if you don't do the squirrel-catcher drop at the beginning. The bike park I first heard of Gravity Logic was Windham in NY (now closed), and the Thunder Mtn in Mass. Killington, VT is another one of theirs that is really good. When a mediocre jump rider like myself can hit a black trail (Black Magic) blind and clear almost every jump the first time, you know the trail is well built. Highland in NH has a great jump line - Hellion - but it's definitely not a Gravity Logic style of trail. Every jump is a little bit different so it's a trail you need to practice on if you aren't an expert level jumper. Oddly enough, as I've gotten older (50+) I've come to love a well built jump trail. Once you invest the time to get comfortable jumping, a good blue jump line offers a ton of fun for minimal risk.
Legacy footage was dope. Nice to see your Montana visit show up! Thanks Yuka
An extra Hole in your Butt, sory butt i have to laught. good recovery for you!
one thing I noticed about your jumping (both of you) is that you're absorbing the jump instead of standing up to it. body position could use some work too, maybe you're a bit far back instead being in the center. anyway, nice jumps trails.
Stop whining, not all jumps are built perfect like ur fancy whistler trails. Get used to it. Where I live all jumps are sletchy and u have to get used to it. Maybe take some cranks and maybe you will clear some jumps for once!
That’s the way to improve the jump skills 👍 way to go!
Looks like you both had a good time!
What the heck! thats wild to see you guys at bryce I was just there this past Sunday. 😂
Great place ✨
Exquisite!
You have been busy going all over the US.
So many great places to ride!
Great video Yuka! Looks like big fun!!
Trestle has gotten a lot of work in the last year, but it doesn't hold a candle to Whistler. A-line is still the best jump line I've ever ridden hands down.
I agree😁 can’t wait to go back!
Yuka seems to finally be learning how to actually jump. Good on you Yuka
Do you think so?? Thanks✨
Nice video
Go down to snowshoe for opening, maybe you’ll see my brother
Snowshoe was insane! Especially, the DH course😱
You made it to Bryce. That's where I first rode in a bike park. Glad to see you enjoyed it. I'm not much for jumping, but I do like the technical trails they have there.
Great bike park! So many wooden features😊
@@VanGirlYuka I forgot to mention that @SkillsWithPhill rode here last season. He created some interesting lines.
I cannot believe ya'll came to Virginia! Should have gone to Massanutten too! Creamy is the best blue jump trail I've personally ever ridden! So glad you all had fun! What did you think of Virginia? Did you see the blue ridge parkway? Stop anywhere else? Come to Charlottesville Virginia next time 😊
Sounds like a fun place! Thanks for the tips 😉👍
You're at Bryce!! This is my favorite local trail that's not far from DC! You should check out snowshoe!
We did! It was more for tech but nice! Those DH course were insane!!
OH SNAP! Stoked to see you riding our local, Bryce. Hooch is an absolute blast and just gets more and more fun the more comfortable you get on it. I do think Rainmaker, in Trestle, is one of the best jump lines I've ever ridden though!
I wish we could’ve done the drop on Hooch! It was very intimidating 🥶
@VanGirlYuka it definitely LOOKS scary but you just ride off it at trail speed haha but you guys did great even with skipping it.
I ride Bryce a few times. Haven’t hit hootch yet. But the park overall is good. Come to frederick Maryland. Steep technical gravity trails with some park like flow in some trails. Always watch both of you 🫶🏽💯🔥
Thank you for watching 😁✨
Great content, Yuka
Love to see Legacy Bike Park! Do y'all have a full video there coming, or that I missed? Were you able to stop by Big Sky, Copper City, Whitefish, or Discovery bike parks while you were in the state?
Unfortunately, this is the last video from the US😭
Are you using AI generated music around the 8:30 mark? It's wild how well the music swells and intensifies at the perfect moment for each jump.
Thank you! I don’t use music that AI generated. I cut and connect by myself. If you felt like it suited for the video, I am so happy ☺️❤️
Nice cam ! Don't vibrate with trail.
First! Hi Yuka 👋 😊
Hello 😁🤚
very inspirational the video is as well.
ah, I hope you're doing good. I think the last video I've watched of yours was when you had that hard crash. I think this video paying now was actually my first video of yours that I watched. =)
