We finally have an AWEOME list for combo sleepers! We have tried a TON of pillows. I'd love to try the saatva and purple!
This was another great line up with many items i hadnt heard of before. I love pillow reviews and comparisons. Thank you for all of the info you shared with us. I always feel like i have learned so much after watching one of your videos. My 2 faves on this list are the Avocado Green and the Brooklinen natural duck down pillows. I love the option to be able to fluff and manipulate my pillow to feel just right and the ability of the Avocado to have some of the filling removed sounds amazing to me.
The Brooklyn Bedding Luxury Cooling pillow looks awesome! Thank you for the great review!
Thanks for the great reviews...would love to try the Brooklyn cooling pillow!
The Purple Harmony Pillow for the Win. The pillow looks soooo comfy and I can't wait to try it.
I really like how the purple harmony looks it looks also like a very cool sleeping Pillow
I am a huge fan of the purple harmony pillow. Reason being it is cooler plus it is great for any type of sleeper. I really like the 7 inch height I am a combination sleeper, hubby is a stomach sleeper
I think the Saavta "Double" Pillow is ideal for me, but I also give the Brooklinen Natural Down Pillow a thumbs up. Thanks for all these great honest reviews.
Great video. Very informative.
I like the Saatva and the Purple Harmony. I am mostly a back sleeper and I particularly like that the Harmony helps with neck pain
Brooklinen sounds perfect for me!!
Combo sleeper here. Mostly back and side. Thanks for the video.
I like the Saatva pillow due to the layers and versatility of sleeping positions accommodated.
The Saatva sounds wonderful to me. I love the dual layer design with that cushy outer layer and then the interior made of the talalay latex for support. Sounds like it could be smooshed(is that a word?) into just the position and height you need.
I like the Saatva one since I do tend to sleep in multiple positions. The Purple Harmony looks awesome too, I'd probably love either one of them, honestly.
I'll probably need to pick up the Saatva myself then since I tend to sleep in every position, but I would definitely want to try a few others.
I would love a mattress because im sleeping on just a box spring but these pillows sounds incredible. I'm interested in the casper foam pillow because I'm a back sleeper which this is great for, the cover and filling are a great quality material for my dream pillow. Thank you for the hard work y'all put into this.
I love how the purple pillow disperses heat!
My boyfriend is a combo sleeper. So thanka for the review. Saatva would be great for him! Or the Brooklyn Bedding for the cooling effect.
The Casper or the Brooklyn Bedding cooling pillow look fantastic.
Thinking about trying the Saatva and Brooklyn Bedding (I have their signature mattress in soft).
The Brooklinen and Saatva sounds like the two best options for me. I do like down as it’s shapeable, which is great as I alternate between back and side and like to adjust the pillow so Brooklinen is my top choice.
All of these pillows sound amazing but if I had to choose it would be the Layla since I'm a side sleeper but love the durability of the purple plus need the extra support pillow to relive neck pain, definitely the higher loft pillow.. Bit pricey but if it helps my neck pain and the migraines I get from a stiff neck it's a lot cheaper than the doctor visits thank you for all the reviews! ❤️
I would like to try the Saavta pillow. I like how it looks flexible but also bouncy
Saavta I'd love to try, like sound of all them
I love the avocado pillow as an ecofriendly option. As a combo sleeper, the saatva sounds like a great choice. I like the pillow in pillow design. I also like the Brooklyn luxury cooling pillow since I tend to sleep hot.
I love the thought of the avocado pillow because I'm obsessed with 🥑!!! 🤣
Purple Harmony would be perfect for me with my bad neck pain. I like that it sleeps cool with its ventilated talalay latex, comes in two loft options and that its lined with Purple grid hex. My only con is that its a little pricey
I have chronic migraines and I need a firm pillow that also cradles head and neck. It seems like both Saatva Dream and the Purple Harmony might work for that.
brooklyn sound nice to me because it draws away heat keeping you cooler while you sleep
The Purple Harmony is the pillow for me.
You should do a video about the best budget minded pillow for combo sleepers
I am with the editor's choice, and Saatva's dual design is very interesting! My husband is a stomach sleeper who does not use a pillow but I would like to recommend Tempur-cloud pillow to him. Brooklyn's cooling pillow sounds, well, cool! ;)
Omgosh, my husband often uses no pillow when he lays on his stomach, too! I can't begin to understand how that's comfortable!? 🤣
Well I am a side sleeper. But the Saatva looks sounds like it would be a great fit for me. I like the shredded foam inside and I like the loft. The purple pillow is way to flat for me and I hear that it weighs like 10lbs and is really firm. great for back and stomach sleepers.
This doesn't really help me even though im a combo sleeper. I sleep on my side and stomach with my arm under my pillow. I really just looking for a new pillow cause i can not find one i feel comfortable with am have wasted money on to many already. Damn this is gonna be hard asf finding the perfect pillow for someone like me.
Find one?
@@FinazzoBeats nope seriously went through 60 pillows and none feel right. So this does not help any.
Saatva Dream looks best for me. I have a bad back and change positions many times during the night as I try to get comfortable.
It would be the Brooklinen natural down for me all the way. I am just hooked on down and have not found a foam or other type that I can stick with, yet anyway.
I would love to try the purple harmony pillow, pretty big price tag for one but I would get it if I could finally be one I'm happy with. I like you can get a higher loft on the pillow because I'm much broader than my girlfriend and don't want her to keep stealing it :)
The Saatva pillow sounds amazing! I wish I could buy it. They don't ship to Canada. :(
I would love a pillow recommendation if you have a moment! I generally sleep on my side and back but occasionally half side/half stomach. I have neck, shoulder, back and hip issues along with fibromyalgia (partially the cause of the other issues). I have had the original purple pillow for a few years but it feels like it doesn't support my neck very well sometimes. I am looking for a new pillow as well as a pillow for my knees and one to hold. Any guidance you could offer on any of those would be very appreciated. Thank you and I love your videos!
Do you have a recommendation for combo sleeper all positions that uses a Cpap thanks Jefg
Thanks for the video. Do you have any suggestions for other pillows similia to the Saatva? My ideal pillow is a pillow that is plush enough that it molds around my ears but also works for side sleeping (combo back and side). Most pillows I've tried that have some level of support don't offer enough plush to mold around the ears.
I like to sleep elevated a bit, usually with 2 pillows, to support my shoulders and neck.. but cool as well.. any recos?
Hi :) what pillow would you advise for stomach/side sleeping?
I am having a hard time finding a pillow perfect for me.I am a side and stomach sleeper that prefers that memory foam feel. I also get hot at night. Do you have any suggestions?
I sleep back & side and have not been able to find one for both. I used the coop home goods, which sounds like the avocado.. but my problem is, if I make it low enough for back (neck support), it's too low for side. Any suggestions?
Hi Sarah! I’m a combo sleeper and I’m trying to switch pillows to help with neck and back pain. I’m interested in latex materials because I hate to sink and be suffocated by my pillow. I’m really interested in the Purple Harmony pillow but I’m worried about the loft being to high for back sleeping even with the 6.5 loft. I am on the petite side and I have issues with finding that perfect neutral position when on my back. I sleep equally on my back and side. Any suggestions or tips or a “go ahead” to the purple pillow would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!
Does the Saatva Dreams pillow lift compare more closely to the new Saatva standard or high lift? I’m a side sleeper but also roll to my stomach during the night. I also tend to sleep with my arm under my pillow so I’m thinking the standard loft is best but wanted to get your thoughts.
I am a combo sleeper. I have been using a new pillow and I still have neck pain. Could it have anything to do with having a worn mattress? This mattress is 9 yrs old. I have had neck pain for about a year and can't seem to figure it out. I plan to return my current pillow and try one of your recommendations.
Any recommended contoured pillows? Do you like them for back and side sleepers?
Oh my gosh I don’t know what pillow works for me 😭 I’ve looked at so many videos and still haven’t made a decision
I tried a Layla kapok pillow and that is much too firm for me. I want a softer pillow. The filling was the proper loft but its just to firm. Any suggestions?
i like your videos over any others ! its the way you speak, some yell at you ! its sleeping gear, not a baseball game !
Just want to say thank you!
Ps you're gorgeous!
Have you tried Sutera?
Have you tried the " pillow cube" yet? If so what are your thoughts?! Thanks in advance - A
Here's a question for you, lets see if you check year old reviews! The Saatva looks great other than the height. Removing the inside is neat, but then why not just buy a pillow that doesn't have that?
I start on my stomach typically and like a flatter pillow, same for back sleeping, or just bunched up for side sleeping. Not a fan of memory foam. Would you still say test out the Saatva? Does that removable piece really not add that much height? Or is there a better option you know of. Thanks!
Hi Sarah! Like you, I'm a combo sleeper who flip-flops no less than 573 times a night 😵 I noticed that you didn't review or mention the My Pillow (at least in this video). That's what I currently have and I can't say that I love it. 😢 Unlike the claims on the commercial, I'm constantly having to fluff it up & still have to stack 2 pillows. To give you an idea of my sleep shenanigans: when I first lay down, I typically start on my stomach to watch TV. Before long, I get that sinking concave ache in my back, so I flip on my side (we have a memory foam mattress that's too firm, so we put a 3" topper on it). Of course that means I grab pillow #3 to put between my knees. When I start feeling pressure point pain in my hips, I flip again. Obviously, we still haven't found the perfect mattress that's actually affordable... But back the 2 pillow thing - the top one is the one I most manipulate the shape of (for every sleep position), placing it perpendicular (vertical) to the bottom pillow (horizontal). When I'm laying on my side, my arms clutch the rest of the pillow that sticks out below my head. All that to ask this: Does the Saatva pillow eliminate the need for a 2 pillow stack? What would you recommend since I also find comfort in clutching a pillow when I'm on my side? If you've read this far & made sense of this, I look forward to your thoughts! 😉
Hey Wen, thanks for reaching out! First of all, let me say that I've had the exact same experience with MyPillow. I'll admit that when I first tested them (all four firmness levels), I wasn't super impressed, but I wasn't disappointed either. However, they all lost their shape very quickly and became pretty much unusable within a few weeks. So, I totally relate. That said, it's definitely time for an upgrade! Firstly, sleepers should only ever use one pillow for their head and neck (and then feel free to use one between the knees, under the arm, etc.). As someone who sleeps on the Saatva pillow, I can tell you that I never feel like it's not lofty or supportive enough, and I heartily recommend you give it a try. It's also fluffy and foldable enough to sort of tuck an arm underneath while you're side sleeping. If I were you, I'd ditch the MyPillow stack, give Saatva and try and see how you like it. Meanwhile, you might want to search "Best Mattress for the Money" on sleepopolis.com! Good luck and please reach out with more Qs.
Sleepopolis I’m confused and hope you can clarify. I thought you said recently that you are sleeping on the Eli/Elm pillow🤔I’m confused because I’m really looking for some good pillows (combo-sleeper) and when I see your sleeping on multiple pillows and also recommend multiple pillows because your using them, I don’t know how credible your reviews are. I was about to purchase one of your recommendations, then I saw this comment. Do you mind clarify. Thanks, it will be greatly appreciated😊
I mostly sleep on my side in fetal position but sometimes I sleep on my back. What type of pillow would be best for me I am a petite woman. I also do not like putting my hand under my pillow so fluffing my pillow or providing support myself would not be ideal.
Can you please tell me where can I buy that blue duvet? Thanks
That is from the Citizenry! Check out the full review: czcams.com/video/0Iyd_OIDxX4/video.html
Question...purple harmony pillow...i am short and my shoulders are not broad but I am overweight. Would you recommend going with the 6in or going for the 7?
I think the 6 inch would be a good height
What if you're primarily back/side but need a firm pillow? Would any of these make that list?
The Avocado Green pillow I have listed in this roundup offers a medium-firm feel, and is great for back and side sleepers. That said, none of the pillows in this video have an extra firm feel so if that's what you're looking for, I suggest you check my Best Pillows for Side Sleepers 2020 review!
This sucks I want the purple but no international shipping😓

Omg expensive pillows
PSA try not to sleep on your stomach. It’s very hard on your neck and back and puts your body in a position that does not allow you to neutralize and rest. Stomach sleeping is the number 1 no go for sleeping positions
needless to say, she does a lot of sleeping.
