- I went up to the top of the Carew Tower to record all of downtown Cincinnati's sirens.
Not only did I get the Thunderbolt 1000 and 1000Ts and the new T-128 down town, I got the 2001-dc in Covington and 2 Modulators in Newport sounding in alternate wail.
Very Fun and sounded creepy.
You see that little speck down by the Modulator? That's me! XD

I love the 4/5 port thunderbolt 1000T and thunderbolt 1000. It sounds like Minneapolis sirens.
I don't know how I have not seen this until now, but this is IMO the BEST siren ambiance of downtown Cincinnati i have ever seen!!!! Kudos to you for catching it!!

Those thunderbolts and 128's make it sound like Dallas sirens.
The only time where the attack timing for the 'bolts wasn't off.

Soo creepy old mechanical sirens that the modulator in alt wail made it creepier just to get people's attention.
At least, no P50, Cyclone, or Superbanshee with an Allertor, P10/15 in 9/12, Banshee, and other 9/12 ACA sirens.

True. They were all disconnected when the T-128's were put in. Most of them were abandoned in place, and aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
Why doesn’t downtown Cleveland have any siren in downtown
Tornadoes aren't as common in Cleveland as they are in Cincy.

probably for the technological standpoint, the sound, and the history. Just like rail fanning, most people couldnt give two shits about whats on the train, they just like to see and hear. I used to be a big siren guy too, but the reasons i liked them was one, the history of the systems, especially city systems dating from the CD days, 2 the sounds, eerie, but cool as well, and 3 for the significance of that this is what the end of the world would have sounded like for my parents and grandparents....

Hmm ok but it does sound like a tbolt, the tbolt I think Im hearing is on tap 7 so it is high pitched
+Mr.Someone the really high pitched siren is a Thunderbolt 1000 set on chopper level 7 with the blower wired backwards. It rotates at 8 RPM
