The defense is going to get her found guilty by using the ambush crap. I believe that the victim was drunken and disorderly and a fight ensured and they dragged him out of the home and left him to die..no ambush. Could the fight of happened outside ? Those defense wounds tell me that while the victim was in a brawl, the dog got excited and also attacked the victim.

yeah, i too think its overcorrecting to accuse premediated murder.

So this again clearly shows a poor investigation with this statement about the "black blob" in the snow. The police didn't do their job and do a full investigation with interview statements, the correct address, photographs, securing the crime scene inside and outside the house since they ALL spent the evening together. You can't convict Karen Read on this, from what I see she's innocent due to lack of evidence and someone else did it based on the terrible police investigation done which makes it appear they tried to pin it on Karen.

@@marcot4863 As drunk and/or out of it as John must have been at that hour and given the sizes of the other two men and the fact that he was outnumbered John could have been disabled as easily as a twig by a two-by-four just pressing upon it. There would be no need to beat him up. I even think the wounds on his arm either happened earlier, were scratches made by part(s) of the curb, car, taillight, bumper or underside of car or quite possibly happened prior to that night The whole idea of a beating of any kind seems plainly ridiculous to me. The bulging eyes were explained by the skull fractures according to one medical person unrelated to this case. My adult son was once thrown from a bike and hit only his head on the curb; he ended up with bulging bruised eyes and his entire face black and blue; no kidding.

@@govindagovindaji4662 I believe it was a one to one fight and while they was fighting, the dog joined in and after the fight they either left him where he was found or the fight happened inside the house..how do I come up with this theory.. because twice in my life I've witnessed a fight where two men where fighting and while the man was on the floor, the man's dog joined in because of the excitement. Dogs are pack animals and will defend the pack leader in most circumstances.those injuries on the victims arms are definitely defence wounds where the victim is on the floor and being attacked by a dog. The ambush theory will get her found guilty. Two men drunk and full of testosterone.. fighting. Could reade accidentally ran him over after the fight ?. I strongly believe that reade didn't intensionally kill the victim. I would love to know what reade is like when she is drunk. The owner of the home ,when he was on the stand I detected deception, I strongly believe the fight was between the owner of the home vs victim .

I just don't get it. The video of Read backing up with snow flying, has her backing up toward a white fence, although when you see the 2 pictures of the home, no white fence is near the driveway and the driveway isn't wide enough to turn around as she did with a parked car near the white fence. Also, no tire tracks of another vehicle in the driveway as one witness claimed to be next to Read in the driveway? What gives?
Also, why isn't anyone pushing on the cell phone call that was made at 1:30 am about ' how long does it take for someone to freeze in the cold'?

I'm a retired Law Enforcement Officer and none of this case, so far as shown any guilt of Karen Read. The only thing that the Prosecutor jas tried to establish is that no one of the witnesses could have done this horrific murder. She testified today that the first time that she said she viewed the "black blob" was 5 to 6 feet long black object. The first and only time she reports the "length" was admitted upon "her recollection with Lally, DA, hours before her testimony today. Hey Vinnie, drunk admitted partier, is Nagel's testimony, and I believe you need to rewind from before this case even went to trial with Attorney Melanie Little, who has followed this case from the beginning! Please do not be fooled. There was never a black blob, Officer John O'Keef was always seen in a blue and white sweatshirt, no jacket and white tennis shoes. Not a black pair of shoes, no puffy jacket...until JO'keefes body was discovered by EMS. She stated that she could still see parts of the yard as still having grass and pavement still visible. Remember, Brian Higgins was parked in front of the mailbox when supposedly Karen Read supposedly arriving, driving forward, never backing up, leaving John O'Keef to enter 34 Fairview Drive. Common sense screams incredigulity!!!

No evidence , no real description , she didn't go over to see what it was.

  • @faithr5176
    @faithr5176 Před 19 dny +68

The defense isn't saying it was a hit, they aren't claiming to know exactly what happened or how it happened, or that it was set up at the bar. They are simply saying that Karen didn't kill him, that his injuries are not injuries from a hit and run accident, that they look more like they are injuries from a beating or an ambush. I think they invited them over not to beat him up, or kill him, just to party, and that maybe Higgins did want to let him know about what happened with Karen and that it turned into a fight and got out of hand. Regardless of what happened I think most people have to agree that a hit and run makes no sense, his injuries are more consistent with a fight, and that there are far too many coincidences. To say that conspiracies and cover ups never happen, especially in families, law enforcement or small towns is insane. Another thing to remember is that the defense doesn't have the burden to prove Karen's innocence or prove what happened inside that house, only to create reasonable doubt which I think they are doing pretty good at proving, especially so far in the beginning of the state's case.

Collin could not get a ride, Defense witness Beaty (friend) is who will testify when he called her for a ride she was asleep or never picked up, she was threatened to not say anything. She couldn’t even remember if she brought her own beer to the house that night! Furthermore, she admitted in cross that she is quite tight auntie JJ… the same woman who asked Julie for a screenshot of her text exchange with Ryan. These are questions not statements. Im waiting for evidence proving Karens guilt, so far all I have seen is the prosecution defending their witnesses, and there is a lot of shennanigans going on with the evidence makes it hard to trust all of it, especially the blood and forensic evidence that was poorly collected. I'm confused. Was John barely alive when Karen, Kerrie, and First Responders did CPR on John? I do not know the answer to this.
Another thing, Karen said she was the only one who tried to save John's life. Isn't it true that Kerrie, and First Responders also did CPR on John? Karen weren't the only one. Why did she lie? When people lie I become suspicious,
Karen is the problem, IMO. She is telling us what we want to hear. Pointing in another direction, saying things like, "WE know who did it". Who are the “WE” she is speaking off? Identify please?
Wow. Does her attorneys have the evidence to make such a claim, of course not. Karen is advised to plant doubt in the minds of the people, her only defense, is Reasonable Doubt. She has no defense otherwise, but, maybe murder of passion?
I do not recall any reports stating that John was barely alive or dead while CPR was administered.
I'm not sure if there were photos of the vomit and blood on Karen. I would think there would be. It should be in the police report. But I understand that the police reports weren't thorough. It is a conundrum.

A literal matter of life or death in cold climates. If this weren’t compounding with EVERYTHING ELSE, I might not be overthinking it to this point, but as it were….
I mean, this seems to be pretty central to their case, and in that light- pretty weak sauce. If she was too drunk to make anything of it, then how is it credible enough to be used here? Just doesn’t do what they’re trying to make it do for me. (NOTE: I’m by no means implying she’s at fault in any way, I’m just saying it presents credibility issues in context of a MURDER trial. She didn’t know that black blob in the snow was a human when passing by until she found out after what occurred to John dummy. That’s why she didn’t mention it. Jen heard Karen say many times “I hit him, I hit him, I hit him” When discussing it at a later time, she must have told them she saw an SUV, and `Jen said what time did your brother show up and when you saw the SUV. No big secret after a fatal event of a neighbour/friend. No conspiracy x 15 people 🤡 I’d try to work out the events with a text timeline if that ever happened on my watch, or amongst family n friends. Move on nothing burger 🫨

How could you not mention seeing a blob after hearing that someone is dead? No way . How would you keep quiet, nothing for months? It's a day you wouldn't forget, even if your memory is different from others, but honestly, you would say something. Unless you didn't see anything. I don't know what happened that night but listening to the testimony 😌 it's really not good for the prosecution so far. But I'm still waiting for more proof, but do I believe she had seen a blob and no mention? No, I call BS 🫤but what do I know 🤔

Think about it. Let's say the Albert's are 100% innocent as was everyone in the house that night.
That means their friend just died on their front lawn.
    What do you immediately do?
That's right, you ask all your family and friends if they saw anything when they left the property.
That MUST have happened if they are innocent. 100%.
Julie said on the stand nobody asked her that question until yesterday.
    What absolute nonsense.
Are we also expected to believe she knew she saw something and didn't come forward with that for 28 months.
For the love of God people.
    This trial needs stopped. NOW.

and that is a sobering thing, even if angry, she would have stopped and done the right thing I think, anyone in their right mind would, only people who are flawed or lying would think of how to cover something up. That is when it becomes nefarious or a crime. Other than that, an accident, esp. if she did not know. This case is being tried for the wrong reasons.
