Hey guys this is my first time hearing and reacting to Sepultura. This time with their song "Dead Embryonic Cells". Great song, those riffs and vocals were very good, great solo and that breaky was awesome.

This song is legendary. I can see why you say Metallica because the thrash but sepultura just takes it to another level. More aggressive, more thrashy, better vocals.

For those discovering this band... one of the greatest in thrash metal... the key albums are Beneath the Remains, Arise, and Roots.
And then the guitar and drum brothers got back together for Cavalera Conspiracy 'Inflikted' and 'Psychosis'.
But the 3 albums mentioned are the peak of their output. Get them, or seek them out.
And definitely keep it going on SEPULTURA you won’t be disappointed.

Nice, yes they're from the 80's, they were a combination of thrash and death metal in the beginning and then took influence from nu-metal and groove metal. I've never actually listened to them aside from this track, but I've always heard great things about their music in reviews etc.. and they write some really tasty riffs so I probably should haha. Also, if you want something similar I'd reccomend Death - Suicide Machine, it doesn't have a breaky but the riffs are brutal. God bless.
Oh that´s cool a lot of influences from different metal sub-genres. Yeah, I was surprised with the catchy riffs and that breaky.

Please react to another Brazilian heavy metal band called Angra. They are from early 90's and still on with some members change. Great band with lots of masterpieces. Start from the music "Temple of hate" or "Carry on". You will never regret.

It can't get better than this. Sepultura is one of the best bands in the world (and they're still keeping it up. You're in for a great surprise listening to their 2020 album named QUADRA. Pay close attention to their new drummer). Besides, some say Sepultura opened path for Nu-metal, others say they, in fact, created it. Up for discussion. Great reaction, though, man!

Sepultura has two albums (schizophrenia and beneath the remains) that they toured on with a band named Pantera the summer before they went into the studio and made this album. Great riffs and rhythm changes throughout, and very tight as a band. This album is a rare 5 star cover to cover listen.

Please don't say "like Metallica" Sepultura is its own breed, They have been around since the mid-'80s and they became known in North America(US) by around 87, if I'm right, in that case, I would say Metallica sound like Dave Mustaine because in real life they used his riffs to become famous, and that's a true story, so, please for all people who say "like Metallica" at least do some research on early metal bands
