It’s called a 6 o’clock hold. It’s where you need to aim to hit the bullseye for this gun. some guns shoot point of aim, point of impact. Good video, I have the combat commander in blue finish, my lgs has a defender in blue also, considering picking it up.
I really need to learn how to shit at 6 o clock. Ima gonna do some research and hope for the best! And thanks brother! And how does she shoot? And man they shoot great and they come in 45 or 9mm I personally chose 45 you can never go wrong.
I picked up one today. Since I didn't have a Colt in my 1911 collection. I was disappointed that it only came with one magazine. Even tho I have more. At the price point they could put 2 magazines with it. Be safe 👍🏼🇺🇸
Grabbed one yesterday thanks to your video. 💯
Great gun. Got my 2 last fall when they finally came available again.
Yup they’re very hard to find! I looked everywhere I finally got it! How has it been for you?
Salute 🫡 awesome video
Thanks brother! God bless🙏🏼
Mamalona bro, saludos 👋🏻
Gracias carnal saludos👍🏼
My first pistol was a USGI 1911A1 .45ACP. So everything standard pistol caliber after that had mild recoil. Haha. Except maybe 10mm. Now the .45 Colt in a single action army cowboy revolver had some serious kick to it. You get used to the recoil if you put the practice in. To me its not that bad but like I said I started on .45ACP. You can put in a recoil spring and guide rod buffer kit but I never noticed much of a difference with it. It is slightly tamer if you shoot 185gr. Lead SWC or Winchester Silver Tips. Little bit better control with the lighter bullets.
That’s a hell of a first gun, I can imagine how well accustomed you are to .45 if you shot it as much and off a revolver 45 colt yea for sure what your used to is on a different level. I’ve been working on it, jt has gotten way better I’m assuming since I’m used to 9mm .45 is a pretty big jump but it’s not to bad it’s getting easier honestly brother thanks for your advice I for sure will be looking into the recoil spring and guide rod.
