My grandma passed away today.. She was and still is the strongest woman I’ve ever known. I miss her more than words can explain, and every second that goes by makes me feel more and more guilt for not being there with her, to hold her hand one last time. Im on the other side of the planet at the moment, and I didn’t get to see her before she died. She lives right down the street from me, and always asked me to come visit her more, but I just never made the time to. I regret it so much. I am very blessed not to have lost a grandparent but I have lost two of the most special people in my life. Dear great uncle Shelby I loved you so much, still do!! I love your gentle voice and kind heart! You always met me and my cousin at the door of my grandparents house and would say “hey girls! How are you today?”. This statement is one of the only memories I really have off you. When I was 4 I moved to another country. I lived there until I was 7. When I came back it was weird because I didn’t remember you that much but got to know you. I only got a year with you until you got Covid then nur Mona! On April 10th 2020 you passed away after sleep walking onto a bridge in below freezing weather were you collapsed on the ground. I regret moving to England so much because I felt like you never got to see me grow up and I never got to see you during the important moments in my life. Like turning 5!!! I will forever miss you!! You are loved!! ❤ Dear Mrs Tucker my 4th grade math teacher. I never knew how attached I could get and did get to a teacher until I lose one! You were the best teacher ever!! You were supporting, caring, and loving. When you pasted I spent al day at school crying!! I was able to go in your room and I burst out in tears seeing all the flowers and things that were memorable items from her. At her funeral her husband said that she would never get to raise her new grandchild! We will forever miss you!! You are loved by many!!!!

I lost my grandma two days ago 😔. I watched her go from the ICU (intensive-care-unit) to Hospice (end-of-life-care) in one week. It was devastating to see her go from me being able to have a conversation with her to her organs failing and resulting in her breathing 2-3 breaths a minute 😔. I love you mema. I’m grateful you’re no longer in pain but my heart is broken 😔❤️🩹.

My great granny just past away this morning I woke and received the news and automatically broke down my husband had to hold me from falling to the floor she was very old school southern lady who took care of everyone and had Sunday dinners I would go over there every Sunday and we would all pray and that is the most wonder I have hanging out with her I’d go over and sit and talk to her and she would tell me some good old stories. My grandmother passed away back on January 1st 2022… I was working out of town… A surgery gone wrong caused her to pass away… I talked to her that morning before I went to work to check on her and she said she was fine and I told her I loved her and I’ll call and check on her after work… that was the last time I was able to talk to her… my mother was never there for me due to her mental illness issues and my grandmother was all I had in my life. I think about her everyday and miss her more than anything in this world. Never end a phone call or leave your loved one’s presence without telling them you love them and how much they mean to you. Sounds crazy, but life is too fragile and unpredictable… I cope with the loss of my grandmother by continuing to do better and make decisions that are best for me and that would also make my grandmother proud. I lost my grandma two days ago 😔. I watched her go from the ICU (intensive-care-unit) to Hospice (end-of-life-care) in one week. It was devastating to see her go from me being able to have a conversation with her to her organs failing and resulting in her breathing 2-3 breaths a minute 😔.

My grandmother passed away back on January 1st 2022… I was working out of town… A surgery gone wrong caused her to pass away… I talked to her that morning before I went to work to check on her and she said she was fine and I told her I loved her and I’ll call and check on her after work… that was the last time I was able to talk to her… my mother was never there for me due to her mental illness issues and my grandmother was all I had in my life. I think about her everyday and miss her more than anything in this world. Never end a phone call or leave your loved one’s presence without telling them you love them and how much they mean to you. Sounds crazy, but life is too fragile and unpredictable… I cope with the loss of my grandmother by continuing to do better and make decisions that are best for me and that would also make my grandmother proud. I’m sorry for everyone’s loss here. God Bless everyone.
