Just one question, being in HR sometimes the list of achievements and responsibilities can be exhaustive, making the resume longer to three pages. What would you recommend in such cases? Is it ok to add everything that you are currently performing or have achieved or to omit everything and only keep the relevant points where keywords match closer.

I have 7 years of work experience and I still keep my resume to one page only. It used to be 2 pages and then I forced myself to make it 1 page. It revealed how much 'fluff' and 'useless' bullet points I used to have. Keep it 1 page, make it impactful and still hit all the keywords.
You can use a narrow margin, Calibri font and font size 10.

I started out as a crew member then team trainer then moved up to shift surpervisor. Do I list my experience in each position and how I was in that role? Or do I just list share my experience as Supervisor along with the dates of how long I've been with the company. Thank you for this video. It helped me out alot

I have a question: do I need to create two types of resumes for ATS-friendly to apply online job portals and another one for physically apply with graphics pics.
Personally, I won’t- hr cares the most about ticking the boxes . Graphics pics are not likely help with success rate a lot if the ATS friendly one has great content to start with. I think it might not be best use of your time to do two versions. May be different for creative industries though.
I criticize the job market today. So, now we have to have machines writing our resumes? We have to have machines selecting our resumes? How many good candidates get lost because they are not using these machines? Those resumes that go to trash cans, Some or most of those candidates are actually good professionals and technicians. This needs to change

The point is, if youre not up with the times they will pass you up. Basically your resume gets kicked out. Why hire people who arent tech savvy when so many others are? Chatgpt is a gift horse that keeps on giving. Learn how to use it bcz it absolutely is the direction this world is heading in.

you can also upload your resume into ChatGPT with the JD and have i do a comparitive Also take the output and then run it through Claude to get a more 'human' like feel vs the robotic ChatGPT Learn more about prompt engineering. You can tell Chat GPT to make the output 5-7-10 lines or X words. Start with telling it that you want it to behave like an ATS scanning tool or a HR screening recruiter

Thanks, I plagiarized this resume & secured a position with a salary of 160k a year, 20k bonus package end of year, & a 5k sign on bonus for a 6 month contract. They were a bit confused when I told them my name was Sally, but I just told them I'm non-binary & they dropped further questioning. I have a corner office with a beautiful view & I get to tell people to do things I don't want to do. When the higher ups pass my office, they think I'm working diligently, but I'm just playing Helldivers 2 with the bros. Easiest money I ever made, thanks Heather. 😁

I live in the the world of digital product development. I can see why so many people are frustrated by companies' digital services: because too many of those companies are using a flawed recruitment process and hiring mediocrity. It's a sad fact that outstanding candidates will be by-passed by an ATS product which clearly favours the vast majority of also-rans. Love the video, although it's a shame this is what we have to now resort to.
