Just an FYI to people, The Afflicted has been updated a while ago to include a custom gun and a more palatable early game. I'm guessing Reto will have it updated by the next time the character will be played.

The amount of dmg, that the Blood injection item gives scales on Curse
The Corrupted Place Floor isn't the Old West Palette, I distinctly remember Apache saying that the Old West tileset was completely unrecoverable.
It's actually a recolour of an unused 'Pilot's Past' tileset that I discovered in my Drill Experiment video. Originally it was purple stones with patches of green on the ground, but he made it yellow cheesy walls with blue instead.

Baby Good Mimic does work on Baby Good Hammer. I made sure of it. ;) (I made that item by the way)
Hammers summoned with it do not damage the player. (even after you get to Forge where it can spawn bullets). Also using it on the Forge in a room that already has hammers causes those hammers to deactivate so you never have to worry about which one(s) are your hammers. ;)
EDIT: Looks like it bugged again on the secret floor (I've seen one other person encounter this issue). The secret area didn't have the keys placed and the second boss didn't appear. That wasn't supposed to happen. I've been unable to reproduce this bug so I don't know what is causing it. :(
Anyways the proper way to access the secret area is to start by using a blank in one of the chest rooms. (not the chest room on the path that leads to the boss though). Also don't skip the custom boss's title card next time. I customized that too. :)

in expand the gungeon there isnt currently any new rooms for the abby, what you were seeing is some genius by apache, he created a bit of code for both the abby and oubliette where certain enemies get automatically replaced with certain R&D department rooms, so bulletkin in the oubliette are fish and in the abby they are knights

you 100% correct about the alarm mushrooms, they had some really basic code in the game already but apache added the sound effect, them being delivered by box and expanded the types of enemies it could spawn, its a super cool addition
Kind of ironic that one of the first guns you found in this series was the kiln, yet it was one of the last ones you found last series. Also the room at 41:32 with lots of blobulons in it was shaped like a blobulon face lmao

Reto the R&G Department characters in secret floors is a result of the chaos glitch mod, it automatically adds/replaces some of the normal enemies with R&G ones, anyway that's it. Can't wait to see more of this series!
I love that the RNG characters are so common in ExpandtheGungeon :) There are Wall Mimics in the room at 49:50, they drop an essential item for the floor :P

I love this, I loved mod the gungeon series but from the perspective of an amazing content created like u it could be hard to find mods that are small enough to do a video on but of enough to warrant a video. This is the perfect compromise and I can already tell that this is going to be my favorite series yet!

your afflicated character started with the wrong gun, he is supposed to have a custom gun, are you sure you have the mod up to date

I think to get into the secret room on the secret floor (the Corrupted), you have to fight the Rat and save his chest keys, you'll need 3 in total to get into the secret room, and another for (presumably) Bello's items

I had a synergy once between hip holster and heart holster that made the bullet fired when you reload extremely homing. Turns out the charge shot bullets kept homing onto the boss in thight circles constantly damaging them. It was really overpowered but i wish i could have turned the damage cap off ( i'm on console )
