That poor turtle, having a head, fall on his head! Great review guys!!
haha, now that's some A-Grade Turtle Food!
This is why I like you guys and your reviews - I saw this one a while ago and thought it was mediocre, but your take on it makes me really want to revisit it. Sometimes I end up seeing them in a different light than the first viewing and develop a better appreciation for the filmmaking involved. I do remember the diner scene with the drawn out reveal of the waitress' head (is it in the pot?) to really be a lot of fun. I will be checking this one out again.
Yeah that scene is great, the pacing and waiting for the pay off is great. Then when the pot is empty you're like "where is the head"? Also when they first show the aquarium, you're like "there better be a damn head floating in there at some point" it takes some time but you do get the pay off.
Lordy I remember seeing this on late night TV years ago but never the knew the name of it. Thanks again!
Glad we could help you remember this one! Cheers buddy!
This is a good one for sure. Between aquarium beheadings, toilet beheadings and that weird shower scene, there are a ton of memorable moments.
yeah, It's allot of fun, and smart!
I always found this to be an unjustly overlooked early 80's slasher! Another good movie review, guys!
Thanks! When can we expect more from you?
@@FrightfullyForgotten I plan on doing some editing this weekend...so soon!
@@80sHorrorCentral Nice! Looking forward to it!
Good stuff guys. Have you reviewed Q The Winged Serpent? It just occurred to me that I'd love to hear you both talk about it.
No, not yet, and we should cause it's got our man David Carradine in it! haha
That is Roger Corman at his best. So many great actors in it. The cover of the VHS Tape is so badass. For the time and since it is considered low budget the effects are actually pretty good. Great suggestion
Thanks for the headsup on this film. Looks cool.
Just doing our job! Cheers!
Hey guy's...amazing review i love this movie. Btw its Dave from horror movie and a beer from Instagram 🤣😀 love the sam adams glass and love the visiting hours logo on the shirt😃 keep drinking...p.s. great nightmare beach reference.. love that movie.
Hey Dave thanks!! We did a review on Nightmare Beach too! Keep drinking!
Great episode!! Night School is the best American Giallo not made by Brian De Palma. You guys need to watch some Italian Giallo films. They'll knock your socks off.
Would you consider Phantom of the Paradise Giallo?
@@FrightfullyForgotten not really. I think that Dressed To Kill is the best American Giallo with Alice Sweet Alice as being the 2nd best. De Palma's Body Double is also pretty good. Oh, and Eyes of Laura Mars also checks most of the boxes. The very very best Gialli are if course the Italian ones.
@@FrightfullyForgotten Deep Red by Dario Argento is a masterpiece
@@garyny4073 Sure is, also one of the best Goblin scores, now that will be stuck in my head all day!
@@FrightfullyForgotten 👍🔪🥃🔨
Catching up. But it’s a glorious binge. I loved this movie when I first saw it on First Choice Super channel.
Never a bad movie when a head takes a swim with a turtle!
you had me at Rachel Ward shower scene
hahaha with the fruit or paint or whatever it is!
I recently subscribed and have been watching your videos almost non-stop on Fridays and Saturdays. I didn't use to know what a Canadian accent on steroids sounded like.
Canadian accent after a few beers is more like it!
The running man lol
Haha you got it! Get it? We were just talking hoping someone would.
Night school what a classic..I remember my sister and her friends renting this one.. Great fun.. hope both of you are, safe and sober I mean merry cheers 🍻 🤣🤣🤣🤘🤘🤘
We are safe but we ain't sober!!! 🍻
Great movie!
I was surprised who the killer was the first time I saw it. 😀👍
yeah it's a good reveal!
@@FrightfullyForgotten yes it is. 😀👍
Ooh, this looks good! I'm glad you guys put the spotlight on it. Thanks!
I have not seen this movie actually never heard of it. I will find it now, I gotta figure out the twist at the end! on another note what is your opinion of Pirannah (sp sorry for the life of me I cant spell this morning) Is that the first movie where death and mayhem occur at a summer camp? Watching it now it is just so cheesy but as a kid when it came out it scared the shit out of me
Not sure either of us have seen that one. We are way behind on the "nature attacks" sub genre haha.
@@FrightfullyForgotten Oh you guys have to watch that one and the sequel which was the directing debut of mr. James Cameron!
@@theodoremartin9333 yeah we have to start tackling those kinds of movies.
@@FrightfullyForgotten Kingdom of the spiders is great one to start with it has william shatner in it. I like Phase 4 a lot too.
@@theodoremartin9333 we will be covering kingdom of the spiders this year as it was a patron request!
Copying the murderous rituals of the natives is cultural appropriation. It misses the meaning of the deaths which is i dont like them. Lol. I'm glad I found you guys.
Glad you found us too. Thanks for stopping by!
