Thanks to you, i figured out how to play decently with multiple characters in 7 and minimal combo dropping switching in between. Here i go again learning for 8. I'm a Jin player who grew up playing as him in Tekken 3, and dare I say, he's easier than Kazuya because you don't need to understand Korean Backdash or Korean Wavedash like you do with Kazuya. This is why Jin is the only Mishima I like playing in the Tekken series, because he's the easiest Mishima, strong, and handsome. Reina is too hard.
I main Jin since Tekken 7 and I was not able to master 2 consecutive electrics, then I tried him in Tekken 8 and after only 30 minutes, I was able to do the 5:17, big help RyzingSol!
The last combo was nuts wtf. Also never thought that you can connect 1+2 after 3-1 at the wall Ps: optimal route for EWHF is whiff (1-2)-4 into b3 stuff. Also IIRC 3-1 -> f zen u1 -> b3-2 is the optimal wall combo of you didn't use up your tornado
Were some changed in the update? B3 isn't picking up or im just really not nailing the timing on some of these combos. Like the one that starts with CHF4
@@Kim-NT Had the same problem and finally figured it out, you need to press forward for his zen stance right as the B3 animation begins, you can't wait for B3 to connect before pressing forward otherwise it won't connect at all which is weird
Sick always look for your channel when starting out a new character! Struggle is real on Jin though he’s a learning curb in a half. Keep up the fresh videos g
for CH 4, if you don't want to get in heat you can use df+1,4 for 37 damage and +10 frame, so you can easily frametrap/continue pressure also for anybody wanting to wall carry: if you can't reach the wall even with heat activation, then additionally use heat burst with the kick variation (spam 4 after activating). it has amazing wall splat range and in most situations guarantees savage sword and it's worth the damage and pressure
5:06 Is there a specific timing on when i hit the ewhf? or do i just need to do it really really fast, because i can't seem to connect jab into savage sword after electric.
@@DeadEndzMusic Yeah it's probably a height problem. In this example, df 1, 4 splats them low to the ground and you barely have enough time to connect the cd2 to get the second splat. Almost frame perfect. But if you do something like cd1, cd2, cd1, cd2 it's pretty easy to get the splat neccesary for the last part because you launch them so high up.
@@DeadEndzMusic just to make it clear because I'm bad at explaining, you need to connect the cd2 at a certain height to get the second splat. do it too late and you missed your timing and they slump to the ground. it's just that to get the "certain height" here you pretty much need to be doing it as fast as possible. but it's easy when you use a launcher that splats them higher on the wall.
If it's possible for your next video, can you add the button press sound effect when you do combos? I want to know the exact timing when to press the buttons. (Especially for Lee Chaolan.) Update: He already did Lee Chaolan.
The combo at 5.05 where you splat, then do the Ewhf input with 1 then 2, I am unable to do ewhf 2 fast enough so I can do the jab then savage sword. Is the timing really this tight?

How good are you lot at Electric'ing from the 2P side? Also ZEN 1,3 is generally a poor ender due to the situation it creates at the end of the combo. I can get a more useful ender out of 3,1~d/f, ZEN d/f, ECD1 but the timing on this is very tight. Generally I either go for d/f+2~d/f, EWHF or b+3~f, ZEN u+1. Not as damaging but gives better situational setup. Adding the animation from 7's 3+4 looks cool but kinda killed ZEN 1,3's utility.
Hi sol! The combo @ 1:01 sometimes the df2 would hit. So what would happen is Electric, df2(hits) breaking step electric and then I can only get a b2,1 for 52dmg total with no ender. Is there an alternate combo if df2 hits?

Is anyone encountering whenever jin does a launcher, it takes forever for him to move forward. Im having a hard time doing his electrics after a launch cause it seems like hes stuck in concrete after any launcher.
everyone sais the b3 pick up after counter hit f4 is easier now but I literally can not do it a single time in Tekken 8 for some reason. Guess I am stuck with the ws4 route which is less consistent and rewarding :(
after the 2x electric and 2x b3f1 is theire any trick to land the heat engage? ive tried dashing after first b3f1 and after the second one, its kinda inconsistent, i land it like 10 times or something but after 60-70 tries..
Is there a rule for cd1 to cause that extra wall splat? (Where it sends them further up the wall), i can't work out if it's due to diff wall types, how quick you it or distance?

Amazing guide. But for the second combo in the video, 0:15 I cant seem to hit the bf 2,3 correctly. I am fairly new so i must be making a mistake. I end up doing a b2 mid. I am trying to hit thr bf2,3 without the string and it registers but not in the string. Any tips for that?
I have the same problem. When you do b3,1 make sure you aren’t continuously pressing the last move to buffer it otherwise bf 2,3 doesn’t come out right. Also, the timing is important. It can be done. Just takes practice.
My biggest weakness is not executing PEWGF idk what I’m doing wrong I’ve watched tutorials and I keep doing EWGF but I fight ppl that do it every time Any tips

Easier route for combo 2. @0:30. you say b4 two times. i have been labbing and i cant complete the combo with 72 dmg. easier combo is launcher b4f1>b24f u1> b4f14 this way you still get 72dmg & it's easier

When you have to delay a move in the combo, are you spamming it so it goes off as quick as possible, or just timing it right and pressing it once?

Yea thanks. I wanted to show an easier combo there. As I mentioned in 0:17, the b3F, 1 > bf2,3F, u1 to b3F, 13 can be also be done for d3+4.
